Zinc Dust, Zinc Oxide and Phenolic Varnish Paint
1. Scope specification.

* The following cooking procedure is intended as a guide only. Heat the resin and the linseed oil to 550°F
(228°C) in 50 to 60 minutes. Add the tung oil and reheat to 465°F (241OC) in 15 to 20 minutes. Pull from fire
and allow to cool to 420°F (216°C) and thin; add the thinners in the order shown. The finish varnish should be
filtered or centrifuged to remove all visible foreign solid material.
