Refund policy

- If you need to cancel your partecipation for an objective Coronavirus impediment, such as (tournament
canceled, the player cannot enter in Italy because of international travel rules, the players is in mandatory
quarantine), there will be a refund of 100%

For any other reason:

- 95% of refund if you cancel at least 2 weeks before the tournament

- 80% of refund if you cancel between 2 weeks and 1 week before the tournament
- 50% of refund if you cancel less than 1 week before the tournament

In case of special motivation, we will consider to refund a bigger part.

Transfer

It will be possible to book an organization shuttle from Venice Marco Polo airport to Bassano del
Grappa at the price of 25,00€/person.

General Rules for Festival Vergani 2020-2021

1. The time control for each game shall be 90 minutes with an increment of 30 seconds per move
starting from the move 1.

2. The tournament is valid for FIDE rating and for international norms.

3. It is strictly forbidden to have electronic instruments that have the only theoretical possibility of
communication.

4. The arbiter may require the player to allow his clothes, bags or items to be inspected, in private.
If a player refuses to cooperate with these obligations, the arbiter should take measures in
accordance with Article 12.9 of Law of Chess.

5. The English text of these Tournament Regulations is the authentic version.

6. The maximum allowed delay shall be 60'.

7. Tie-break will be Bucholz TOT, Bucholz cut1, and ARO.

8. Only in Open A, all prizes will be shared with Horth System.

9. The organization reserves the right to make changes if it will be needed for the succesful outcome
of the event.

10. The partecipation in tournament implies the consensus of each player to the publication of
certain personal data. For underaged, such consensus is implicity given by parents or by those who
exercise their homeland power.

11. It will be possible to take once a half point bye- respecting conditions of Italian Technical
Federation Regulament.

12. The Covid Protocol of the event will be published around 15 December.
