You are a member of eIC.T Training College ICT Club. You are helping in the development of the club’s
website. You will be required to create a new webpage, edit a saved webpage and link the webpages using
hyperlinks.
Task 1: Creating a new web page (20 Marks)

1. Using a text editor, create a new web page SurnameNameClass_Courses.html. The web page should
have a title e.ICT_Training_Courses. Save this webpage in your candidate folder.
(Make sure ALL basic HTML tags are properly entered). [3]
2. In the Courses.html page, create a table with 3 columns and 2 rows. Use the following table
specifications:
a. Table width : 75%
b. Border size : 2 [6]
3. Enter table data as shown below.

Task 2: Editing a webpage (20 Marks)

Open the webpage ICT_Club.html using a text editor. Save the file as
SurnameNameClass_ICTClub.html.
4. Insert the following images in the specified cells
a. In row 1, in the first cell, replace letter A with the image school_logo.jpg. [2]
Set the image width at 100 pixels. [1]
b. In row 1, in the third cell, replace letter B, with the image Lab1.jpg. [2]
Set the image width at 125 pixels. [1]
c. In row 3, in the third cell, replace letter C, with the background1.jpg. [2]
Set the image height at 460 pixels. [1]
Set your browser to display the alternative text Background_Image in case the image fails to display.

5. In row 4, replace letter D with the text Page designed by: and add your Surname Name and Class.[1]
6. Create the following hyperlinks:
a. In row 2, make ONLY the text Courses a hyperlink that open the webpage Courses file you created in

The webpage should open in the same window. [1]
b. In row 2, make ONLY the text School Website a hyperlink that opens an external website

The website should open in a new blank window. [1]
c. Make the image school_logo.jpg you inserted in Step 4a a hyperlink that opens the website
