TO ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY SC Grade 1/GC Grade 4

1. The Public Procurement and Property Disposal Service (PPPDS) on behalf of Ethiopian
National Archives and Library Agency have funds with the Procuring entity’s budget to be
used for the procurement of Electro-mechanical Works for Ethiopian National Archives
and Library Agency (3B+BG+13) Building.
2. The PPPDS invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of works
mentioned above.
3. Bidders should be required to submit application letter, renewed Business license, certificate
of competence, valid tax clearance certificate and etc to collect the bidding document.
4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal
Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all SC Grade 1/GC Grade 4 eligible
bidders.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from PPPDS and inspect the
bidding document at the address given below at 7 (a) from 8:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m.
6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at
the address given below at 7(a) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00. The
method of payment will be in cash.
7. Bid must be delivered to the Address below at 7(b) on or before 10:00 a.m on 24 January
2020. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security Birr 500,000.00 (five hundred
thousand birr) in the form of CPO or Bank guarantee in ETB.
8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who
choose to attend at the address below at 7 (b) at 10:15 a.m on 24 January 2020.

9. PPPDS reserves the right to reject any or all bids and any items on the bid.
