Summary:

As Operational Research Analyst you will build, analyze, and support direct to client models and modeling systems.
This work will include iterative programming and design work on forecast improvements, as well as reacting to
client questions and providing visual and statistical support for the delivered models. There will be terabyte level
data sets needed for data prep and analysis for fortune 500 companies, as well as more custom data sets for local
industry leaders. You will provide support and guidance for research efforts, as well as client and client support
deliverables.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will have the opportunity to:

 Join a small, focused, product-driven company to support core modeling development and operations.
 Develop improvements to modeling platforms and algorithms.
 Work with key client and support stakeholders to support model delivery via creation of programmatic
outputs and ad hoc reporting
 Be responsible for escalated analytical support questions
 Provide technical leadership for BI and visualizations in scheduled and ad hoc client deliveries
 Execute custom modeling implementations
 Guide clients for best practices in ML forecast integration
 Research, design, and develop new forecasting methodologies

Requirements:

 Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business analytics, Computer Science,
or other analytics-related field
 Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to present results of complex
analysis compellingly to both technical and non-technical audiences
 Ability to think strategically, execute effectively, and deliver high-quality work against tight deadlines.
 Self-starter with strong time and project management skills, and high attention to detail. Startup attitude
and a passion for building new products and businesses.
 3+ years of quantitative work experience in analytics, demand modeling or similar
 Solid technical skills using R, Python, and SQL. Familiarity with AWS is a plus
 Well versed in applying an assortment of ML techniques to various custom modeling problems
 Experience in experimental design, causal inference, and regression and time series models
 Ability to learn IT systems quickly to extract and prepare required datasets for analytics
 Proven success driving data driven recommendations and action
 Strong critical thinking and business acumen, able to use data to drive actionable insights.
 Passion for analyzing consumer behavior and market dynamics.
