NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS (EXTENSION OF VALIDITY PERIOD)

1. The Department hereby requests the extension of the validity period to allow for the
completion of evaluation process until the award of the tender.

2. A possibility exists that the bid of which particulars appear below, may not be disposed of
before expiry of the current validity period, and I shall be glad to learn whether you are
willing to hold your bid valid IN ALL RESPECTS for the further period indicated. To
facilitate the matter the reply form hereunder may be completed and returned.

3. Should you not be willing to hold your bid valid for the further period, it will of course lapse on
expiry of the current validity period and will therefore be ignored if the bids are not
adjudicated within this period.

4. If you are willing to hold your bid valid for the further period, but subject to amendment in
any respect, the nature of the amendment must be clearly indicated in a separate letter, but
in that event and should the bids not be adjudicated during the current validity period, the
right is reserved to ignore your bid, particularly if the amendment has the effect of
increasing or decreasing the bid price.
