As part of the ASEAN integration, there have been talks of free movement of professionals. One
of the sectors that will participate in this movement is the education sector, in which education
professionals from other Southeast Asian countries can find jobs in the Philippines as well as
Filipino education professionals finding jobs in the ASEAN countries. As such, in a plenary
session of a youth leaders’ summit, you have to deliver a persuasive speech convincing the
members of the plenary that this free movement is beneficial for Filipinos. Your speech should
include evidence from research and policies from other socioeconomic blocs which shows the
effectiveness of the practice.
