FREEDOM OF WRITING IS NOT ABSOLUTE!

Freedom of writing is not absolute. In a democratic country, there is always a

manifestation of freedom. When we say freedom, one has the right to choose
the life he/she wants, a place to live, eats foods by choice, and learns what
one’s heart desires. It is an innate right that we humans have since birth.
However, this freedom ensures respect, and we should not disregard the right
of other people who are also living around us. The same with this idea,
freedom of writing is not absolute, and it will never be.

Every one of us has the freedom of writing. It is a way to express our

imaginations, opinions, and views in life. While enjoying this opportunity, let
us not forget our limitations and boundaries. After all, freedom is still limited
and must be in accordance with our norms, standards, and law. Before
writing, one should make sure that information is valid, accurate, and with
respect. Without considering these factors before disseminating information
through writing can have a destructive impact. One of the examples is fake
news, which is relevant and timely in this generation. Some people are
recklessly posting information on social media just for fame. These kinds of
humans are attention seekers. They made up stories and issues without
validating them. It can cause misunderstanding, chaos and would probably
hurt someone emotionally and mentally. Remember that once you write
something, especially on social media, it would be difficult to change or delete
it once it spreads. Thus, freedom is not absolute. There are still factors taken
into consideration before starting to write.
