The name of the speaker is Paul Gilbert Maglaya. He discuss the basics of game
development, especially the 3d environment Unity, simple C# coding and game & level
design.

In creating a game, he said that the feature of the game is essential. The game must be
the focus, not the graphics. The game is need to be fun.

He also said that you need to have an idea when creating a game, combine it with other
ideas to create something new. It must also have concepts. When creating a game, you
must have an inspiration during the creation of it to accumulate more ideas.

He also said that RPG, RPS, Shooting game, adventure, racing, puzzle, etc. can be
combine into one game.

He also said that the theme is the philosophical idea behind the game. Wake your inner
kid inside when creating a game in order to relate yourself to those who will play your
game.

He uses Unity as the game engine. You can download the software at unity.com. You
can also download your assets for free or you can buy it at Unity. Once the game is
build, you can see windows.exe. You need to add new game condition, if you want to
add more functions such as ending the game. He also said that when coding, always
remember that it is case-sensitive.
