Required Project Information

The methods explained in the previous report are the fundamental principle of post-
tensioning.

To prepare an appropriate implementation method, specifically for the 3D printed segment

structures, all 3D printing methods and detailed information of structures as mentioned
below are needed to be fully described.

1. For the application of the basic analysis method, specific site plan drawings and
vertical supporting type should be specified, for instance, whether the support is a
column or wall.

2. The detailing and design concepts of the 3D printed shell elements are required to
decide of the tendon layout and the location of the shear keys.

3. To satisfy the required number of tendons and direction of stressing for these
tendons, stress developments in shell elements would still need to be evaluated first.

4. The entire construction method requires that the segments components need to be
supported temporarily before joining them together. It mainly depends on these
aspects to assess supports for anchor seating.

The preliminary ideal layout plan for post-tensioning tendons are shown in the figure for the
further review.
