Question:
Consider a telephone exchange system with I 0 lines and 3 links locutcd al Uttara,
Dhaka. Let at clock time I000 (simulat ion clock). three canto.re in progress accord
ing to the Table I.The future call lists are shown in Table 2. The system is a delayed
call system i.e. the system maintains a queued call list i f a calJ fails to establ ish
clue to block. So, as soon as any one of lhe three link gets free the system firsl
checks the queued call firsl whether there is any call wai t ing and tries to
establish the connection again. If the call fails again to eslablish that ti me, the
call gets lost from the system. Otherwise the syslcm works as usual when there is
no call in the queued call list. The stat istics of the call counter is shown
in Table 3. Simulale the system.
