Hi there. Good morning to everyone behind this window.

We are team glory and I am Anamika Das here with you today to share our thoughts
about Fast Fashion and its impact.

To be very frank I am an online shopaholic and I buy dresses almost in every month.
That's not just because I like them but the price ranges are in my hand. And If I
see my cup board I can see that dress after using once or twice maybe.

(3) Well, I think that could be good example for showing the impact fast fashion.
The fashion industry is rapidly changing and the effect obviously comes on
developing countries like us and obviusly our environment. People thought of having
a nice outfit even by saving the cost of having a meal.

(4-6) That enourmous demand of fast fashion nowadays creates environmental issues,
electricity issues, water wastage, health issues etc. The mass demand required mass
production. That leads us to the usage of huge amount of chemicals. The emmited
gases creates an adverse effects to the environment. Burning of that high density
chemicals need high temperture heat production which requires enormous amount of
electricity usage, oil usage. The cotton and synthetic fabrics requires large
amount of oil to work with which causes adverse effects to the environment as well
as human health. That leads us to wildlife extinsion problems also.

(7-8) So what can be a solution... We propose a model that includesusage of bio-

degradable material, upgrade techonology, and recycling the esicting products. This
model has the potential to be next decade's breakthrough in fast fashion industry.

(9-11) From our point of view the answer of the question is Awareness and
Recycling. In that case we have to bring Consumers, Sellers and Manufaturers into
and umbrella. Usage of recycle-able material, plant based polymer and rayon could
be the fabric. Recycle the wastage to makes toys and maybe start it as a sub-
business.

(12-14) Technically we do not propose for a new machine. We are just proposing to
use the same technology with new type of material. There might have some minor
environmental effects but we reduce those by controlling usage.

(15-18) The brands like ZARA, H&M should be more tactical in definfing the seasonal
sale. They should encourage customer give back the clothings if those are not in
use. Also they should give space to the Linear fashion brands to make a balance
between Fast and Linear fashion. And also consumers should be more careful in
using/throwing away cloths. In such way we can solve the existing problems.

(19-20) There might have several risk factors like strategical, market, financial,
technology, operational and environmental risks. But these lower down with timely
action, necessary steps and moderate usage of materials.

(21) Fashion becomes a regular companion nowadays. But things will be even worse if
do not reduce our carbon and chemicals emissions. So to sum up lets just regulate
our outfit by saving our planets.

Thanks All.
