It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Maxine. She was a 145 Jean-Jacques Lussier
Teacher Candidate in the Bachelor of Education Program. Maxine was a student Ottawa ON K1N 6N5
Canada
in one of my classes which spanned the full academic year of 2018-2019. She was
under my supervision not only for the course proper but for the Practicum
component as well.

She regularly attended class, managed timelines effectively and demonstrated

enthusiasm for course topics. Her professionalism and collaborative approach to
learning enabled Maxine to work well with others. In addition, Maxine was
consistently prepared for class discussions and showed good insight into the topics
discussed.

In her practicum placement, Maxine achieved a high degree of success with

students and school staff. Her diligence in preparing lessons and selecting the
appropriate teaching strategies ensured that the students were engaged and had
opportunities for success. She is versed in her curricular areas and willing to
expend the knowledge base to hone her skills in other areas. Classroom
management techniques conformed to school norms and indicated creative
solutions to minimize off-task behaviors. Her gentle and calming nature provided
the avenue to relate to the students and provided for a positive class environment.
Maxine also engaged students in learning and accommodated the different
learning styles of students. Maxine met her responsibilities as an educator with
commitment, dedication and passion.

Maxine, in my opinion, will be a dedicated educator and a valuable member on

staff.
