This letter serves as my recommendation of Maxine Bett for a teaching position.

Maxine and I met at Carson Grove Public School in Ottawa when she was a student teacher in
a grade 4 classroom. I was the learning resource teacher who supported Maxine’s class and we
connected instantly as she is such a warm and friendly individual.

Using her warm and positive personality, Maxine was always able to bring out the best
in all members of our staff. During her time at Carson Grove, Maxine demonstrated a passion
for teaching and being a lifelong learner. She had excellent organizational skills and always
had her lesson plans prepared ahead of time. I also noticed that she often stayed late after school
to ensure that all our students' needs were being met. Her engagement and inclusivity with the
students created a supportive classroom where all the students felt safe and demonstrated
enthusiasm to learn. She is a wonderful educator who strives to deliver the best quality of
education to her students. Maxine is a dedicated, enthusiastic, and organized individual. She
would be a wonderful asset to your school board. She is a delight to work with and it would be
my pleasure to have the opportunity to have her as a co-worker in the future.
