I  am  writing  a  strong  letter  of  support  for  Tessa  Ryan.  I  am  currently  the  program  director  for  the  
extended  day  programs  at  the  Pine  Hill  School  in  Sherborn,  Massachusetts.  I  am  also  a  former  school  
psychologist,  guidance  counselor,  assistant  principal,  and  classroom  teacher.  Tessa  has  worked  in  our  
after  school  program  since  September  of  2019  as  an  assistant  teacher  for  our  kindergarten  and  first  
grade  group,  as  well  as  our  second  and  third  grade  group.    

Tessa  is  a  thoughtful  and  conscientious  professional,  wise  beyond  her  years.  She  always  extends  
maximum  effort  in  all  of  the  many  endeavors  she  undertakes.  Tessa  understands  the  complex  variables  
that  affect  her  students  and  has  made  the  time  to  make  herself  known  as  a  resource  to  students  not  
immediately  within  her  purview.  In  addition  she  makes  time  to  connect  with  staff  members  and  parents  
in  order  to  further  develop  relationships  that  benefit  her  students.    

Tessa  is  well  organized,  flexible,  and  establishes  and  maintains  efficient  routines.  She  can  easily  respond  
to  sudden  changes  with  a  calm  and  taciturn  demeanor.  She  also  knows  when  she  has  overextended  
herself  and  can  no  longer  perform  optimally.      

I  strongly  recommend  Tessa  to  any  scholarly  institution  that  is  seeking  an  intelligent,  hardworking  
professional  who  combines  the  qualities  of  willingness  and  aptitude  to  help  students  reach  optimum  
academic  engagement  and  personal  growth.
