To whom it may concern, December 12, 2022

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Tyson Ferguson. I worked with
Tyson during his sophomore year as his Spanish 2 teacher and during his junior year as his concurrent
enrollment (CE) psychology teacher. Tyson is an intelligent young man whose dedication to his
education has been exceptional among even his highly motivated peers. His efforts and consistency,
along with natural curiosity led to great success in my courses.

In addition to his success in my classes, Tyson has immersed himself in our early college program at
Weber State University. This program allows students to attend the university along with regular
college-aged students during their high school years. I have watched many very capable students
struggle and falter, but Tyson has thrived in this challenging environment and is on track to earn his
associate degree by the time he graduates from high school. He plans to continue his education in pursuit
of a career in the medical field.

Tyson is a member of National Honor Society, has been a part of our school’s Hope Squad, and has
been involved in community service including the Christmas Box House and local food drives. He is
kind and patient with his fellow students, always setting a good example for them.

As an educator of over 18 years in a rigorous early college high school, I have taught a considerable
number of gifted students. Tyson is without question one of the very best. He is an ideal example of self-
discipline, intellectual curiosity, kindness, and ambition. I have been very impressed with Tyson in
every aspect. I am confident that he will have great success as he moves forward and will be an asset to
the institution he chooses to attend. Please give this excellent young man the attention he deserves when
considering applicants for admission. Without reservation, I give my full recommendation to Tyson
Ferguson.
