Summer Camp Assistant July 2019, July 2020, July 2021

The job of a summer camp assistant is to act as a teacher assistant

throughout the 5 weeks that summer camps are in session. Summer
camps are exploratory, weeklong sessions that contain students of
all ages. The type of classes ranges from Grossology to cardboard
boat building. The summer camp assistant will either float between
classes during the day or remain in one singular class. Each week
the classes are different therefore there is a lot of experience and
diversity to be gained.

Education Careers Graduated Co-op January 2021 to present

As a graduated co-op in Education Careers, one acts as a teacher

assistant. The task includes leading whole group lessons, helping
students’ projects, observing as student’s cadet teach, grading
assignments, and making copies or designing projects as the
teacher needs.

Before and After School Care Assistant November 2019 to present

Before and after school care is a program at Trenton Hills Learning

Center. This program is to help parents that need to be to work
before school starts or do not get out of work until after school is
over and do not have the ability to pick up their student until later
in the afternoon. As a before and after care assistant, you are
expected to be responsible and organized. The assistant will be
liable for students that are present, and they are to remain with the
students until parents arrive.

Graduate Co-op June 2018 to August 2020

As a graduated co-op, the task included assisting teachers,

administrators, and office staff with many different jobs such as:
creating classroom projects for teachers, filing, making copies,
putting together large event folders, i.e., sophomore visits.
 Child Care Assistant September 2016 to August 2017

This position included working with pre-school age students in a

Kindergarten readiness program. Task included assisting the
teacher with what was needed such as: running small group and
large group activities, transitions, and some lesson planning.
