What is International marketing?
International marketing (IM) is a rapidly growing area within the disciplines of marketing and

international business. Central to international marketing is the response of international rather

than domestic buyers in the international marketing environment, the types of decisions that are

most feasible and the information required in strategic decision making.

International marketing is one of five subjects in the marketing discipline and extends the

knowledge developed in marketing principles and application; and marketing management into

the international market scenario, rather than the domestic market. The major marketing

principles, theories, concepts and strategies from basic marketing principles and application; and

marketing management will form the foundation pathways of marketing internationalization,

focusing on utilizing core concepts in the international marketing sphere. These concepts will
