Let’s talk about Switzerland, Switzerland, a small but pretty Country in Europe. There might
not be a lot common things with Miami, when you first thing about it. What do we know
about Switzerland? I mean, if we go with the Cliches, Switzerland is pretty well known for its
Chocolate, Mountains, Watches, Cows and last but not least Cheese. Who does not love the
notorious Cheese Fondue, which was invented by the swiss People or the famous Watches
that are worn all over the World! But have you ever realized how small this Country is? No?
Go and look it up on Google Maps. I am sure you will be shocked. Some Theory even say that
the Population of Farm Animals in Switzerland is higher than Humans. Now you must be
thinking how different it is from Miami. Miami is packed with People and if you think of
Miami, you think of Sun, Beaches and Spring break. But what if I tell you that both these
Country or to be specific, Places, even though they are so far apart, are in real, surprisingly
Similar?
You don’t believe me?
Let me take you to a little Rollercoaster of Surprises.

I was born in Switzerland on the 6th of October 1997 and lived there for my Whole Life. I can
tell, that it has a lot to offer. Education has a big Value. As in all other Countries, you start in
Kindergarden and continue your School Education up to and including University. In
Switzerland you can choose between two Options, continuation in University or any training
in one of the desired Professions. Both Education takes about 3-4 years of your Life time. But
enough with the boring Topic. You might want to know what we do for Fun or where we go
out to eat. Now things are about to get Interesting.

Switzerland offers a lot of variety in the World of Gastronomy. From culinary Italy
Restaurant to exotic Chinese cuisine. Let’s not forget about the traditional Swiss Cuisine. We
already talked about the Famous and loved Cheese Fondue, but have ever heart of “Rösti”?
Its technically fried grated potatoes, which is served with the Choice of meet you want.
Mostly People eat it with a steak or a Schnitzel (Fried Pork or Chicken). Sounds delicious
right? You might want to put this in your Bucket List.

After a delicious Meal you will want to cut your Calories and what better Place than a Club?
On the Weekends popular Places like Zurich or Bern are packed with People, who are looking
for a Fun Time at a Bar or even a Club. So, you will not be missing out on Fun if you decide
go to Switzerland.

After all these Facts you might wonders, why I still don’t want to go back to Switzerland.
But wait we’re not at the end yet. Let’s continue with, what Miami has to offer.

Miami also has a lot to Offer when we talk about Education. As in Switzerland, you also start
in Kindergarden and get your way thru the learning path until College. When it comes to
deciding which college to apply for, I think Miami has more than enough good Universities.
I personally think all are amazing in its own Way because of one Reason, and that’s also the
Reason why I prefer to study in Miami rather than in Switzerland. That reason would be the
Vibe. I feel like even if it’s my 3rd week on Campus I already experienced a kind of Family
bond, People here have a different Mindset. And I think that is amazing. Besides the choices
of Studies of course. You have so much more Choices when it comes to deciding, what to
study.

Talking about “more Choices” let’s switch to the Fun part.

Miami offers a variety of culinary and delicious Food. But they step the Game up!
The Choices of Food and the Establishment of these Restaurant are bringing the Miami Flair
with it. Yes, Switzerland also offers Burgers for Example, but have you ever tried a
Mac and Cheese Burger or fried Pickles at Chilis? The Innovation and Creativity of these
Restaurant are just impressive!

Diversity has a great importance here, for this reason all are welcome in the bars and clubs.
Also, all kinds of Clubs and Bars are offered here, due to this reason all needs are satisfied.
Entertainment is seen different in Miami. Clubs are big, there are often more than just one
Dance Floor and also more Places to get Drinks at the Club. Live Performances are also
provided somedays. You don’t have to Travel one to two hours just to get to a good Club, like
in Switzerland. In Miami, you can have the best Parties almost anywhere near you. If you like
the Beach, Holidays and Parties, Spring break is perfect for you, even though I don’t
recommend going to the Beach for Spring break at the Moment. But just to make it Clear,
Miami just has a big Plus for every Comparison with Switzerland.

Both countries are surprisingly similar in some way, because they offer the same Things and
Possibilities, but Miami provides a wider and much deeper Offer in every Topic that is Listed
(Education, Restaurants, Night Life), therefore I prefer living in Miami due to these 3
important facts.
