EXPERIENCE:-
Presently working QA/QC Engineer at “MERCURY ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY HYD”.
KEY QUALIFICATION AND STRENGTH:-
Having about 2years experience in the field of civil engineering (Expressway and National
High way Projects) as QA/QC engineer.I have started my professional career as a”QA/QC
Engineer.
I am looking in a PREDTIGIOUS Road projects as “QA/QC” Engineer with Engineers
which help me to
attained vast knowledge &confidence.Here I have gained knowledge regarding selection of
Borrow Area and source of Aggregate, Highway material testing , Mix Design preparation
of Bituminous mix design ,structure Concrete,”DLC&PQC. I am also well versed with the
testing procedure following standard codes&specification asper”IS,IRC, MORTH”.
So my over all experience in concrete, Material testing, Asphalts has made me master in
quality control technically for any kind of civil engineer work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -
As a QA/QC engineer of quality control responsible for such as below
1.Responsible for study of specification of items of work.
2.Responsible for checking quality of raw material at source and site as per the decided
frequency.

3.Responsible for acceptance of Manufacturer ‘s test certificate of brought out items
cement, steel, construction materials .
4.Responsible for checking of methodology statement with respect to specification /IS
codes.
5.Monitoring day to day activites pertaining to quality I construction with site incharge and
client \ Consultants.
6.Responsible for sample collection for testing and approvals.
7.Responsible for maintaining “QA/QC” lab and equipment in conforming condition.
8.To ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed I execution of
various activities.
9.Maintaining documentation such a rasing of RFI , bar chart , Borrow area Quality and
daily observation sheet.
10.Conduting specification testing for aggregate, cement, embankment, Sub
grade,GSB,WMM,DBM,BC, DLC,PQC and concrete work as per MORTH specifiactiion
relevant Bureau of indian standard or indian road congress specification .
11.Sampling and testing of concrete at laboratory &site.
12.Preparation of daily &monthly progressive reports.
FIELD RESPONSIBILITIES:-
1.Supervision of concreting,
2.Calibration of batching plant, weigh Batcher WMM, and HOT MIX plant.
3.Supervision of core cutting of BM,DBM,BC,PQC by core cutting machine.
4.Supervision of prime coat and tack coat.
5.Supervison of field desnity test for pavement layers.
6.Supervision of maintenance work like Drain work, WMM,BM,SDBC,DBM,BC,DLC,PQC.
DETAILEID TASK ASSIGNMENT:-

EXPERIENCES IN LAB: -
Identification of borrow areas and testing of borrow areas materialsutiable for embankment and

subgrade. Sample collection of aggregate, water, steel, and mix material from different source and testing
the above material to check the suitability .Maintaing all documents related to laboratory.
SOIL:-Test like sieve analysis of soil , modified proctor, California bearing ration , free swelling index,
atterberg limits and direct shear and triaxial etc.
AGGREGATE:-Test like analysis of sand ,silt content ,fineness modulus of sand, Making of
Standard sand ,sieve analysis of all type of aggregates, Flakiness and Elongation index,
water absorption , specific gravity , Soundness test, stripping value, 10% fine value ,
crushing strength of aggregate ,Impact value.
CEMENT:-Test like Consistency, initial and final setting time, specific gravity, soundness
test, fines, cement mortar filling, and compressive strength of cement.
CONCRETE:-Mix design of concrete like, M-25, M-30, M-35, M-35(P) & High grade
concrete, PQC&DLC.
ASPHALT:-Bitumen test like penetration ratio , softening point, ductility ,Viscosity test,
Flash and fire point ,Specific gravity , Bitumen Extraction, Marshall stability test.
BITUMENMIXES DESIGN: - Design of dense Bituminous macadam, Bitumen Macadam
and Bituminous Concrete.
CALIBRATION:-WMM Plant, DBM Plate, Batching Plant, Crusher Plant (VSI Cone) &Lab
equipment.
