Develop a database for Employees payroll system of an organization .

sample data and perform queries on it using GUI tool.

1. Brief Introduction
A database is an organized collection of data, stored and accessed electronically.
Database designers typically organize the data to model aspects of reality in a way
that supports processes requiring information, such as (for example) modeling the
availability of rooms in hotels in a way that supports finding a hotel with vacancies.

EMPLOYEE PAYROLL MANAGEMENT:-


A payroll is a company's list of its
employees, but the term is commonly used
to refer to:
 the total amount of money that a
company pays to its employees
 a company's records of its
employees' salaries and wages, bonuses
, and withheld taxes
 the company's department that
calculates funds and pays these.

Payroll in the sense of "money paid to employees" plays a major role in a company
for several reasons.
From an accounting perspective, payroll is crucial because payroll and payroll taxes
considerably affect the net income of most companies and because they are subject
to laws and regulations (e.g. in the US, payroll is subject to federal, state, and local
regulations).
From a human resources viewpoint, the payroll department is critical because
employees are sensitive to payroll errors and irregularities: Good employee morale
requires payroll to be paid timely and accurately. The primary mission of the payroll
department is to ensure that all employees are paid accurately and timely with the
correct withholdings and deductions, and that the withholdings and deductions are
remitted in a timely manner. This includes salary payments, tax withholdings, and
deductions from paychecks

4. Actual Procedure Followed


1. Start Database.
2. Click the”Blank Database”template.
3. Type a file name for the database.
4. Choose the folder where to store database.
5. Click create button.
6. Save the database.
7. Create table with suitable name to the table.
8. Add fields to table with proper name to the fields.
9. Choose appropritate datatypes for representation of type of data.
10. Save the table.and in other group of create tab click on queryWizard.
11. Select the Simple Query and Select table fields which you want to perform
operations.click on next.
12. Again click on next and then finish.
13. Open the database goto databse tools and click on relationship button.
14. Mark all the keys and select the “Enforce Referential Integrity”
15. Click on create.
16. Save the database.

1.On the create tab,in other group , click on Query
Wizard.

2.Select simple query wizard.Click on OK.

3.Select table on which you want to perform operations as well as select


fields from available field .Click on next.

4.Again click on next.

5.Give title for query.Here we give title as Emp table 1 query.If you want
to modify the query then select modify the query design otherwise click
on finish.

6.Now our created query is occurs in all table.

7.Open created table,simply double click on it.

CONCLUSION
We created a database that a market can use for keeping track on its
employees payroll system. Employees work on departments. A employee
predetermined by on which department he or she works on, every
department . database for Payroll Management System” has been
designed to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce the time taken to
handle the Payroll activity. It is designed to replace an existing manual
record system thereby reducing time taken for calculations and for storing
data. The is strong enough to withstand regressive daily operations under
conditions where the database is maintained and cleared over a certain
time of span.
