11. When does he practice sport?

During lunch breaks

Sports hub

13. What kind of sports can you practice there?

A gym in which they could weight. Also there courts for basketball and football.

14. What is he going to do after the certificate?

He’ll be doing the diploma in electronics and electrical engineering, then he’ll go and do an engineering
management degree.

15. What does he want to be?

He wants to be a manager eventually.

Task 7

1. Why did David leave the Navy?


He wanted to go for a commission but his eyesight is not good enough so he came out of the
service.
2. Why did students drop out of the class?
They were not passing the examinations, one of the students was having troubles passing the
exams and a couple of others didn’t enjoy college and wanted to work.
3. Why did he dislike school?
He didn’t feel he wanted to be there.
4. Why do most students find PSD a bit of a nuisance?
He thinks it is a burden rather than helpful and most of the guys on the course are going for at
least a diploma.( As they are going to continue their studies further, they won’t be needing the
content taught in this particular module which contains job seeking, interviewing and other
related skills.)
5. Why does he want to know when it’s raining?
In order to know when to bring the washing in.
6. Why does he not have to use the library?
There aren’t any required books for the course, it’s all hand out.

7. Why does he enjoy technology most?


He’s been out working for a living and he can relate to a lot of the stuff he was doing. It’s
interesting and he does not find it too difficult.

Task 10

As shown above in the tables, not only do I have more classes than David, but also the duration of my
classes and the overall time I spend on classes weekly is 0.5 and 2.5 hours more than him, respectively. I
start my day earlier in the morning and finish later than him every day. He has fewer hours for self-
study, however, He has got more time for Maths and Principles compared to me. I do not have as many
hours as he does for communications per week.
