Mes vartojame neveikiamąją rūšį, ki mums yra svarbiau ne kas atliko tam tikrą veiksmą,
o kad veiksmas buvo atliktas. Dažnai mes net ir nežinome kas atliko tam tikrą veiksmą.

Tom broke the window. Tomas sudaužė langą. (veikiamoji rūšis)


The window was broken. Langas buvo sudaužytas. (neveikiamojji rūšis)

Veiksmo veikėją neveikiamoje rūšyje galima nurodyti sakinio pabaigoje su prielinksniu
