Mobile Legends Online Tournament Event

(Fundraising event)

Goal:
The goal of the online tournament is to enhance the skills of the players to play competitively and
also through this online tournament they will meet people that will also help them to improve, gain
knowledge about the game and to gain more friends. This event also aims to help the people of mangyans
and educate the players and the teams about the life of other people especially the mangyans, and why do
they need our help and why we are doing this fundraising event.

Vision:
The vision of this fundraising event is to raise awareness of the people in our community that the
mangyans and other indigenous people needs our help. Our vision is also to inspire other people to help
not just the indigenous people but also the people who are in need.

Mission :
Our mission is to create and promote activities that will help the community of mangyans, and to
also promote awareness about the people in need, especially the indigenous people.

Time-Frame:
The fundraising event will have a week of preparation before the mobile legends online
tournament, below are the list of dates schedule for the preparation of the fundraising event:

 March 30 2021 – Requesting of funds in our school for the preparation and expenses that will
need for the fundraising tournament.
 March 31 2021 –Meeting of the member of the fundraising event for preparing all of the needs
and things to do in preparation of the tournament.
 April 1 2021 – Creating of facebook page where all announcements and information will be
posted.
 April 2 2021 – Posting of tournament information and invitations that teams and players can
access and to inform them where and how to register.
 April 3 2021 – Making of video presentation where the life of indigenous people or mangyans are
presented, and explanation of how the funds raised in the tournament will reach the mangyans.
 April 4 2021 – Announcement of schedule of the online tournament.
 April 5 2021 – Dry run of stream, so that all the technical problems that might occur will be fixed
and solved.
Funding Sources:
Our funds will be sourced in our barangay; we will ask for their support for this online
tournament which will serve as help to the people of mangyans. The registration fee that will be collected
from the players will be the fund for the help and support to the mangyans.

People-In-Charge:
There are 3 groups in the event, each group has a task that will helps the flow of the event, you
can see below the list of the groups

 Group 1 – Collectors of Money

This group are tasked to collect the money from the player or any money from the event.
They will be the one who are responsible for the registration or entry of a team.
 Group 2 – Hosts
They are the that will promote the event on the Facebook page, they will post on the page
and invite people to participate on the event. They will be the one who will host and
shout cast the tournament.
 Group 3 – Administrators
They are the one who will make the event to flow well and they are the one who will
manage and guide the people in the event.

Fund Raising Activity and Resources:

Many people nowadays play “Mobile Legends” also called as ML adults, kids and even old
people play this game, because of that I think that tournament of this game will be a good idea for a
fundraising event. It has a potential of success in raising a lot of funds, because there is a lot of players or
teams that could participate in the tournament that will help us in making the tournament to a success.

The Online Tournament will be streamed through Facebook live, there will be shout casters and
commercials which are the video presentation that is about the life of mangyans and explaining how does
this fundraising event will help the mangyans. The participants of this events are the teams and players
that are invited teams and some will be the teams who registered in the tournament. It is a one-day
tournament, so the schedule of the tournament will be continuous, and the teams that will be late will be
disqualified. After all of the games of the tournament, the winners (champion, 2 nd place, and 3rd place)
will be announced and will be given a certificates that will be given to each players who won the
tournament. And all of the fund raised from the tournament will reach the mangyans, and will be
documented and will be posted on the Facebook page of the tournament.
SWOT ANALYSIS

Strengths The tournament will be an inspiration to a lot of people or to other

organizations to help people through the help of online tournament or any other
activities that they can do to help other people.

Weaknesses Unstable internet connection for our stream and lack of support for the
funds of this event.

Opportunities Aside from entertainment, knowledge about the game will be widen and
they will develop their skills to play more competitively. They will also meet
people that can help them to improve, or maybe help them to gain friends.

Threats lack of teams that will participate on the event will be the problem and
weakness of this fundraising event.
