Everywhere, and almost at any time, we find ourselves surrounded by all kinds of
advertisements. Some people suggest that there should be some restrictions on advertisements.
But on the other hand, there are also many people who strongly advocate that advertisements
should not be restricted. For my part, I absolutely agree with the latter point of view. The
reasons are presented below.

The first reason that can be seen by every person is that advertisements provide us with much
useful information. Advertisements keep us well-informed about products and service. As a
result, we can compare them and choose the best and cheapest one. In addition, we can also
find a job or rent a house with the help of advertisements.

Another factor that we must consider is that advertisements bring us a lot of entertainment.
Advertising is a form of modern art. Just imagine what a subway station or a newspaper would
be like without advertisements. Would you enjoy watching a blank wall or reading nothing but
news or headlines on the newspaper? An interesting advertisement makes your time less dull
and monotonous.

As a matter of fact, advertisements could be a high-cost behaviour for most of companies.

However, we also cannot deny that proper advertising generates a huge amount of profit for
those companies since this could attract loads of new customers. Also, many kinds of media
could not survive without advertisements. Because of this, we can enjoy so many TV programs
and newspapers with so little money. A magazine or a newspaper would cost much more if we
have to pay its full price.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that the government
should not impose restrictions on advertisements. They provide much information and make
our life colorful. What’s more, they would play an indispensable role in development of media
and our whole economy.

online which could lead to social instability. In addition, it also has negative impacts on young
people because there are a lot of obscene and violent contents online.

There is probably a little bit of truth in both arguments. For my part, I completely agree with the
former view that the Internet has more advantages than disadvantages. Our society could
develop into the next stage with the help of information technology. And at the same time, our
government should also protect people from the negative effects of the Internet.

too occupied to spare time for their family.

Another factor that we must consider is that there are now more entertainment forms available.
Nowadays high technology brings us more interesting things which can easily attract people’s
attention, such as watching TV, surfing online or playing mobile games. As a result, people enjoy
these activities, and neglect the feelings of other family members.

The third and very important reason is that people are now more independent than before. It is
much easier to survive as a result of the rapid development in telecommunication. Apart from
their family, they can easily get help from the Internet. Thus, they are not dependent upon their
families as before.

put forward various suggestions. The most important approach is that we should spare more
time to be together with our beloved no matter how busy we. In the second place, there should
be a mutual understanding among families with better patience. In addition, teach children a
sense of family when they are still very young in order to form good habits like visiting and
making phone calls to each other.
