Summer Internship Program – 2nd progress report.

I have successfully completed the following tasks and also


mentioned the challenges and learning outcomes –
 Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.

 The major marketing campaigns included social media marketing on


platforms like Facebook, Whats App, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn;
word of mouth publicity to existing contacts, friends and family; and
outbound calling to the data of schools purchased to sources.
 The task was to extract qualitative as well as quantitative leads from the data
and pitch them the product which was online course modules.
 The major challenge while executing this task was that the pitch to every
audience had to be different. I could not have the same convincing dialogue
to all people.
 The major learning outcome was that I learnt to communicate and convince
people in a more effluent manner. The needs and requirements of all
consumers are different hence I had to first understand their specific
requirement and then sell our services accordingly.

 Perform market analysis and research on competition

 This was one of the foremost tasks. I had to conduct a secondary market
research about our competitors. This was of utmost importance for valuing
our services and also to provide new and unique content to our target
audience.
 The major challenge faced during this task was the variety of service
offerings provided by competitors and to compile essentials and to bring out
the best in our service by providing something unique.
 The learning outcome during this task was segmentation, targeting and
positioning of our service in the market.
 Update content on Social media and Engaging in online forums

 I had to design and create content for the various types of modules offered
by us. Also the content had to be much more appealing to our audience. This
was achieved by using various content enhancement tools like posters, write
ups and posts.
 The major challenge faced here was to convey our services offered to the
people in the most efficient and reader friendly manner.
 The learning outcome was knowledge about various social media platforms,
command over content creation and information about various features used
in Digital marketing.

 Helping in developing new modules

 The basic motive in developing new modules was to always be unique and
provide the best state of the art services to our audience. Some of the new
modules developed by my team members and I include – Personality
Development session and Social media awareness program.
 The challenges faced in designing new modules were basically the content to
be delivered and the age group to target. Also pricing was one of the major
hurdles. The acceptance of these new modules and the response it got from
the audience was all together a big challenge in itself.
 The biggest learning during this task was overall management of the module
from its inception to completion. I had a huge task on hand to ensure
successful and profitable conduction of the new modules.

 Training and conducting sessions

 I was given the responsibility of delivering the introduction part of the


sessions which were conducted on the online platform.
 The challenge faced here was precise communication and assurance that the
audience aware about the basics and fundamentals of the course.
 The learning outcome was strengthening communication and query handling
 Assist in daily administrative task

 This was the part and parcel of everyday tasks. This task included updating
of excel sheets, ensuring proper filling of Income and Expenses, providing
notes of the seminars and certificate of completion to the audience who
attended the programs.
 The major challenge faced here was timely completion of various day to day
tasks so as to ensure smooth functioning.
 The learning outcomes here were time management and attention to detail. It
also included providing post purchase satisfaction and assistance to our
customers.

 Prepare promotional presentation

 This was one of the major tasks which included preparation of posters,
presentations and write ups for promotion of new modules. The skillful use
of words to attract more audience to attend the session was the basic motive
behind this task.
 The challenge faced in accomplishing this task was the ability to convey the
message in precise and catchy manner so as to make the audience
understand the need and importance of attending our seminars.
 The learning outcome was improvement in to the point communication,
branding of our services and knowledge about promotion activities to attract
more audience to fetch increased sales.
 Manage and update company database and customer relationship
management system

 This was the mandatory task of updating the CRM, keeping records of calls
and mentioning the responses of the customers to filter potential leads.
 The challenge faced during this task was being systematic in the process of
filtering data through the funnel and to target hot leads and get maximum
conversions and eventually greater sales.
 The learning outcome was systematic approach towards business
development, maintaining the relationship with existing customers and
building strong and healthy relationships with new customers.
