Introduction to Project

I chose this field because it seemed like a very interesting

field. I wanted to learn more about ownership in the medical
business and how to use/fix any medical equipment that they
own.
Research Topic

Here is the question I had tackled. “How effective is testing in

preventing the spread of COVID?

My thesis for this question is it could be more effective if they

do more than just one test to make sure that they are getting
100% accuracy results.

If you do come back positive then it’s best to stay home.

Getting tested twice is just as effective as once. Sometimes

the results buffer and are not true. It is proven to be true and
is a safe way to know if you have COVID.

To help with the spread of COVID in the workplace I have

made a product.

App on your phone - daily health checks, honesty matters

The thought process of this was just thinking of ways to

prevent the spread of “COVID”

The app is downloadable on all phones it is a daily health check whether you are
scheduled to work or not. Honesty is key.

Health checks will make sure you check off the following:

Temperature- 100 or more

Cough- Constantly coughing

Close contact- Nearby someone with COVID

Shortness of breath- It’s hard to breath ------------ any or all symptoms get tested

Continue on your daily checks even if you have COVID. The

app will help you know if you are getting better or not.

The process of creating this product was quite simple. I

needed to think how I can help with the spread of the virus.

The app is free and you don’t have to check in at work. You can
fill out the health check at your home. If you are not feeling
well and you have some of the checks marked, you should go
and get tested.

This is what the app will look like on your phone. You can see
that it asks a series of questions making sure that you are
COVID free and safe to go to work.
Closing

The overall experience of this was interesting and fun.

I now will take all of what I learned and I’ll put it in the real
world.

Take COVID serious for the elderly.
