*The quiz and checking are done and I am about to leave the classroom.* 

Me: OK class. Everybody settle. I am very happy and satisfied with the result of your

quiz today. Keep it up! I hope you do the same thing in the other subject.

Student/s: Thank you po, Sir! (everybody smile and clap)

Me: The 3rd Quarter Exam is nearly coming. And as your requirement or project to my

subject, you are going to make a 'portfolio' of all your activities you have done/submitted

to me.

Student/s: Paano po yun sir? (some are quiet and some makes their eyes wide open)

Me: Here is the format for your portfolio:

1. Cover letter

2. Table of Contents

3. Entries

4. Date (included in every activities)

5. Drafts (optional but I prefer photo documentation while you are doing the activity

or the output/product instead of drafts)

6. Reflections

*Don't forget the title page in the front of the portfolio with the format (School, "My

Portfolio in TLE 10", name of student, subject teacher and principal).

Students: OK po sir! San po namin ilalagay?

Me: Your portfolio is simply the compilation of all your works and activities in my subject.

You will make a simple yet creative portfolio using newspapers, old magazines or used

papers etc. You are going to paste all your work there. Afterwhich, you will make a short

reflection on the things you have learned in every activity. Meaning to say "kada isang

activity merong short reflection na kasunod". And don't forget the photo documentation

as well.

Me: You have the freedom whatever style or design you will put in your portfolio. The

portfolio must be creative and resourceful. Make use of the recyclable materials

available at the comfort of your home.

Student/s: Kelan po ipapasa?

Me: The deadline of the submission is on the day of the examination. Probably, that's on

December 9, 2022 Friday. So, you have ample time to prepare and create your

portfolio.

Me: By the way, I will send to our GC the criteria/rubrics, samples of portfolio and

maybe videos on how to make a creative portfolio. And if you have

questions/queries/clarifications, feel free and don't hesitate to message me or in our
