5.1DDNS Configuration
DDNS is to map the user's dynamic IP address to a fixed domain name resolution
service. Each time the user connects to the network, the client program will transfer
the host's dynamic IP address to the server program on the service provider host
through information transfer. The server program is responsible for providing DNS
services and dynamic domain name resolution.
Select Application-> DDNS->DDNS Setting in the navigation menu. You can
set a DDNS.

5.2 Advanced NAT configuration

5.2.1 ALG Configuration
Normal NAT implements the IP address and port translation function in UDP or
TCP packet headers, but it is incapable of applying fields in the application layer data
payload. In many application layer protocols, such as multimedia protocols (H.323,
SIP, etc.), FTP, SQLNET, etc., TCP/UDP payloads carry address or port information,
which cannot be effectively translated by the NAT and may cause problems. While the

technology can parse and translate the application layer message information of
multi-channel protocols, and translate the IP address and port that need to be
translated in the payload or the field that needs special processing. The conversion
and processing to ensure the correct application layer communication.
Select Application-> Adcance NAT ->ALG Settings in the navigation
menu.we can enable/disable the corresponding protocol traversal

5.2.2 DMZ Configuration

When the device works in routing mode, if a host on the WAN side needs to
access a specific host on the LAN side, the DMZ function needs to be enabled. The
device forwards all IP packets from the WAN to the specified DMZ host.
Select Application-> Adcance NAT ->DMZ Settings in the navigation
menu.We can configure DMZ IP address.

Parameters description
Parameters Description
Interface name Select the interface port
Enable Enable/disable the DMZ function
LAN side IP Address Fill in the LAN IP address

5.2.3 Virtual Server Settings

The device uses the NAT (Network Address Translation) protocol to implement
the virtual server function. When a user device on the LAN side is used as a server
and the WAN user accesses the internal server, the NAT translates the destination
address in the request packet into a private address on the LAN side. When the
internal server responds to the packet, NAT translates the source address (private

address) of the response packet into a public network address and sends it to the WAN
side user.

navigation menu.In this page we can configure the virtual server settings.

5.3 UPNP Configuration

The UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) protocol can implement automatic port
mapping. Unlike manually configured port mapping, the UPnP protocol automatically
recognizes user devices and automatically opens ports for certain programs to
communicate.
Select Application-> UPNP-> UPNP Settings in the navigation menu. In this
page we can contrl the on/off of the UPNP function.
