School I provide consistency and
on educational assistance to a child I am

one-on-one tutoring to children in
shelters and in need. I am responsible
for being a role model and helping
the children focus on schoolwork.

children, and school on wheels

build a feeling of trust with my
children and constantly provided
reassurance that I am always here
I got to learn how to properly
care for children who have gone
through struggles. I learned how
to be patient in earning a person's
trust. I learned different ways to
communicate with children from
different age groups. I gained
teamwork skills by constantly
collaborating with other
volunteers.

Library I help arrange books and clean Since Libraries are a public use, I
Helper tables, also assist with book sales or try my very best to assist anyone
any other programs held at the who needs help. I arrange books
library. in order so it is easier to find
them. I also help people find
books at book sales because it
gets hectic sometimes.
I learned the Dewey Decimal
Classification System for
organizing books.I gained social
skills by constantly being
exposed to interacting with
strangers.

Ethiopia I assist in translating Amharic to
n English, Tigrinya to English,
Embassy Amharic to Tigrinya and/or vise
Assistant versa. I also book their flight and
hotel rooms, organize and change
their schedule accordingly, print their
files and store the documents,
introduce them in meetings and
more.
A lot of people come into the
embassy with their work and I try
my best to offer my assistance as
best as I can. Whether it be
translating, filling out forms,
keeping the children occupied, or
printing out extra forms.
I got to learn multiple adulthood
skills that will benefit me in
college and in my life after. I
gotta practice my languages in a
professional setting. I learned
how to properly address
important adults, especially when
some diplomats have their own
customs to be introduced.

Caretake I volunteered to babysit children with I got the opportunity to babysit 3 Babysitting these children is what
r for special needs. I have three children amazing children with IDD. Their gave me the confidence and
children for whom I take fully accountable. I parents work 24/7 so I interest in being president in Best
with make sure they are fed at the right volunteered to watch their Buddies. I got to learn how to
special time, I help them with their children to help out a family in handle tough situations where I
needs homework, give them their bath if need. The parents don't have to prioritize the children's safety.I
