RE: Sarah Graue & Sophia Jester Senior Project – Sycamore Sing-along

Sycamore Elementary School PTA was honored to have former students, Sarah Graue and Sophia Jester
offer a fun and enriching dance and choir class open to all students at Sycamore. During the month of
March, 2021, Sarah and Sophia organized a twice a week zoom session where the participants learned
dance moves and lyrics to a song to be recorded and put together in a video that will be shared during
the Sycamore Elementary Virtual Talent Show in May. The sessions and lessons were very well
organized and easy to follow. The girls were positive, fun and engaging. Each week, the lesson was well
planned and included videos for the students to practice with on their own time. They made it very easy
for everyone, especially the younger participants, to follow.

The feedback from the parents was great! Several parents said that the girls were both incredibly
patient, enthusiastic and work very well as a team. Others expressed that they were very grateful for
this extremely upbeat activity that brought music, singing, dance, and, most importantly, joy to their
kids’ lives during this time of limited extracurricular activities.

We would love the opportunity to welcome them back any time to offer their talents to our students.
