TITLE (CAPITAL LETTERS) 5

Introduction

Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UHDR) mandated the rights of an individual to

take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives. In

the school setting, election of Supreme Student Government (SSG) allowed the populace to

choose their representatives and express their preferences for how they could be governed. The

will of the students was the basis of the authority of government, expressed in periodic and

genuine elections.

The said student government is a special form of proactive, self-directed, responsible

social activity of students, aimed at addressing important issues of students' life and activities, at

developing students' social activities, at supporting social initiatives (Fatov & Fedoseeva, 2009;

Kalimullin, Vlasova & Sakhieva, 2016; Zakirova, Masalimova & Nikoghosyan, 2016). Thus,

introduction of student government models in the professional development of students is one of

the most effective mechanisms for developing the competence of the future graduates, which

may significantly increase the demand for them in the labor market in future (Dorozhkinaet. Al.

2016).

Statement of the Problem

The general objective of this study was to initiate the creation of SElect, and to have

evaluation of computer-based voting system’s acceptability among the Senior High School

students of Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School. Specifically, it sought to answer the

following questions:

Research Design

The researchers will utilize ________ in the conduct of the study. __________ (date)

defined ______________ as _____________________________________________.

Furthermore, ________(2003) defined ___________________________________________.

Moreover, ___________ (date) described _________________________. Since, the researcher

will _____________________________________________________________ , this study is

_____________________ in nature.

Respondents and Sampling Method

The participants of the study were selected from the student population of Marcelo H.

Del Pilar National High School- Senior High School Department. The researchers utilize the

____________ formula in order to determine __________ respondents from a population of

____________ setting ______ margin of error. In order to select the participants for this study,

the researchers used _____________sampling. As defined by _________________ (date),

TITLE (CAPITAL LETTERS) 7

___________ is __________________________________. Thus, in the selection of

respondents, each student has equal chance to be chosen as part of the sample. The respondents

consisted of (describe the breakdown).

Instruments

The researchers will prepare a ________________________ questionnaire consisting of

____________ in order to ____________________. It will be composed of _____items on the

following criteria : __________________. A _______________ is

_________________________________ (_______, date). The prepared questionnaire will be

subjected to content validity by 3 to 5 experts and will be revised based on the comments to be

given by the experts prior to use.

NOTE: If the study calls for preparation of two or more questionnaires, each should be

described on this part of the paper.

Data Collection Procedure

The researchers will ask for the approval of the ___________________________ to ask

permission to gather data from ______________________. Waivers will also be given by the

researchers, assuring that the information of the respondents including name and section will

remain confidential . Once approved and waivers of the participants are signed, the researchers

will administer the questionnaires to the respondents. Each item will be explained to ensure

validity of the data to be collected.

Data Analysis
TITLE (CAPITAL LETTERS) 8

In order to present and analyze the data to be collected in this study, the following

statistical tools will be used:

a. Table. To present the profile __________________________.

b. Percentage. To show the __________________________________.

c. Weighted Mean. To describe the ___________________________________.

Furthermore, weighted mean will be interpreted using the interval below:

d. Pearson Coefficient of Correlation. To examine the
