Internet is unluckily used by some rogue gangs and malicious posters as a platform to

been the most outstanding innovation in the fields of information technology and
productivity, and although it has ushered in a new golden age of information, its
crowning feat has been to make the world a much smaller place. Within seconds, you
can now interact with anybody in the vast world. However, like a double-edged sword, it
cuts both ways. The malevolent phantoms of dependence and even addiction plague the
netizens of the twenty-first century. Firstly, the creation and the spread of the internet, as
stated above, has erased the dimension of space in interpersonal, intercommunal, and
international communication. This revolution in communication has brought various to
the masses. It can provide people with the infrastructure to share their ideas, beliefs,
values, and emotions to the whole world. Social media, especially, can help people
connect to friends, colleagues, and family around the world.

In the pre-internet era, we had limited technologies for using and reusing information.

the point where it is now our preferred mode of communication on a daily basis. We use
the Internet in almost every aspect of our lives. Ordering pizza, purchasing a television,
sharing a moment with a friend, and sending a photo via instant messaging are just a
few examples. If you wanted to keep up with the news before the Internet, you had to go
down to the newsstand first thing in the morning and buy a local edition reporting on the
previous day’s events. However, today, a few clicks are all it takes to read your local
paper as well as any news source from anywhere in the world, all of which are updated
to the minute.

information through the media, we must think many times.
