Proposal for two programmes about unusual hobbies

I’m writing this in response to your kind invitation for submission of proposals
outlining ideas for two programmes about unusual hobbies, which target the
general public.
The objective of this proposal is to lay out thoughts for two programmes that I
suggest for consideration.
The first is a TV talk-show with beekeepers in our community. Members of the
public will contribute to the discussions of the concerns and problems of this
important industry in live debates, in the best interests of our economy and
environment. Such a program might also benefit from the technical
opinions and advice of the specialized professionals in the field.
The second one is a televised competition series regarding unusual practices
and skills in the computer and IT among younger people, while the prize
winner would be selected by the audience members. As I believe, it will be
interesting to see how audiences get involved in the process of selection. This
will encourage youths to develop their skills in this area and help us discover
those with special talents.
If these series of programmes succeed in making an impact, we will be
witnessing an extraordinary performance at the level of our national TV.
