Task 2
Rearranged the jumbled sentences into a good and meaningful paragraph.
1 The Flag Incident that occurred at Hotel Majapahit on September 1945 was a very
historic day for Surabaya youths.
5 After hearing the gunshot, Surabaya youngsters climbed up the hotel wall and tried
to rip off the blue part of the Dutch flag.
2 The incident took place when the Dutch flag was raised at the hotel.

Events The war was fierce, at first Prince Diponegoro gained success in this
war, because of the support of the people who opposed the Dutch.
But, slowly the Dutch managed to turn things around. The Dutch
pressed Prince Diponegoro's troops with a fort system.
Re-orientation This war were very tragic, in the attempt to seize the territory it cost
a lot of lives but in the end the Dutch still didn’t want to be invited
to negotiate and instead betrayed Prince Diponegoro.
