Concept Note
Visiting the Concerned Offices
 Barangay Clearance is a prerequisite document in acquiring a Mayor’s Permit. It is
obtained from the barangay where your business is located.

 The National Police Clearance is a document proving that the holder has no criminal or
derogatory record based on the PNP database.
 Individuals need to secure a Mayor’s Clearance before they can apply for a firearms
license. People seeking employment are sometimes also required to secure the same.
 A medical certificate or doctor's certificate is a written statement from a physician or
another medically qualified health care provider which attests to the result of a medical
examination of a patient. It can serve as a sick note (documentation that an employee is
unfit for work) or evidence of a health condition. For dance examinations it is a lot more
than that. If there is a specific injury or an underlying health condition then a certificate
from a specialist is needed.

b. ANALYSIS

What is the purpose of securing the different clearances?

After going through grueling interviews and screenings when you apply for
your first job or switch to a new career, you will need to prepare some pre-

documents, but the ones in this list are the most common in the Philippines.

acts as the main organizing and executing unit for
government strategies, strategies, services, initiatives, and
events, as well as a platform for the people's collective
opinions to be shared, crystallized, and accepted, and for
conflicts to be amicably resolved. You can also get a
barangay clearance here just inform the officer that you
are applying for a Barangay Certificate. You should state
the reason why you need this certificate and request the
application form and complete it. Submit the required
documents and pay the applicable fee.

following is a short overview of the PNP's past and current
organizational structure. You can also get a Police
Clearance here just go to your selected police station your
application will go through a verification process, in which
the police officer will check your biometrics and criminal
records on the PNP database. This process won't take
long. Wait for your name to be called for the release of
your police clearance.
 City Hall
 is a neighborhood, village, or other municipality's main
administrative building. The city or town council, as well as
its related agencies and staff, are usually located there. It
also serves as the seat of government for the mayor of a
city, district, borough, county, or shire.
 Hospital
 is a residential facility that offers short- and long-term
patient care, including observational, surgical, clinical, and
rehabilitative treatments, to those who have or are
suspected of having an illness or disability, as well as
pregnant women. That may or may not even provide out-
patient care to ambulatory patients. You can also get

supply you with a medical certificate. It would be better to
order one if you had a recent illness. On the other hand,
the operating room staff can also provide you with a
certificate if you recently underwent surgery.
