Personal Reaction.
Absenteeism takes several forms ranging from vacation to injury. But why people avoid work at
times? Innocent absenteeism is inevitable unlike culpable absenteeism. Whatever type of
absenteeism is, management should have a contingent plan in place as is affects the normal work
schedules and productivity. Costs associated with absenteeism may be either direct or indirect.
The problems associated with employee absenteeism are not limited to the employee and the
consequences are far-reaching. Employee absenteeism can affect productivity, finances, and
workplace morale. Attendance issues affect a business's bottom line as well as the rest of the
staff.

To suggest any measures to reduce the rate of absenteeism.

Take into account the probability of the identified risk and the impact it can have on the
project.
Poor supervision and inadequate leadership.
Increased staff supervision because the new replacement staff will lack knowledge and
experience, therefore a need for constant supervision and the need to cross-check their
work regularly.
Absent staff are not immediately replaced, this will tend to create work overload for other
staff who will be asked to take extra work to cover up for absent staff.
Staff on replacement of absent employees will need to be trained so that they can work
with confidence.

Recommendation
A contractor or sub-contractor must have a weekly report of labour hours for engineer and
labourers. And contractor can provide a reward for a engineer that can maintain his attedance
clear on a whole month and they will get a cash price. And also contractors must be strict on
daily attendance and daily achievement for not to daily a certain activity.

I there Conclude that every companies have a good communication skills through their
employees to prevent such action and also in order to assure that the company maintains a good
business reputation.
