Rice flour 2tbsp Spinach 100g Onion 1 Asafoetida ¼ tsp Chilli powder ½ tsp Salt to taste Water 1-2tsp Method 1. Chop Spinach and Onion. 2. Mix all the ingredients except in a bowl. 3. Add 1 or 2 tsp of water to just bind all the ingredients. (The Spinach and Onion contain some moisture in it, if that’s enough - Don’t add more water.) 4. Heat Oil to a moderate heat. Once the oil is hot enough, pinch apricot size amounts of mix and press it with your hands to form balls. 5. Drop these small balls gently into the hot Oil. 6. Deep fry them till they are golden brown turning once in a while. 7. Remove and drain them on paper towels. Serve hot.
