 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Industrial exposure is most required for administration understudies, introduction
in various exercises that are led in an industry give you a thought regarding how
things function, in actuality, and you get the opportunity to apply the hypothetical
piece of your scholastics.
These visits have examined about the sensible approach towards the
administration, for example, how they design activities, advancement, staffing,
financing and preparations.
Be that as it may, fundamentally, what I have gained from this visit are the
Manufacturing procedure and the Production Management.
Subsequently, my report is to a great extent in light of Manufacturing and
Production office which incorporates understanding everyday tasks, their
machines and their framework.
In conclusion, this industrial visit has edified me about the understanding of the
business, its working and the targets.

PURPOSE OF THE VISIT

The concept of industrial visit is beneficial to the students as it provides a deep
understanding about the corporate world. In student’s life, all we experience is
theoretical knowledge but industry doesn’t work on theoretical basis. So, we must
also know about the habits, manners and ways of the corporate world which can be
learnt by coming in contact with them through these industrial visits. These visits
take us from the sphere of bookish knowledge to the field of practical knowledge,
from the realm of imagination we come down to reality.
These visits are considered to be an effective method of training. We get to know
about the job at the work place. This enables us to get experience about the same
working condition and with the same processes, materials and equipment that we
will be using when the responsibilities are taken by us. These visits let us know
about the necessary steps with proper sequences which are required for particular
task. It also prepares physically and psychologically for the work environment,
presents demonstration of the particular task to the students, description of the
jobs.
We not only learn about technical knowledge but also get to know about leadership
qualities and team building. These visits apart from educational purpose may serve
us with an opportunity to travel and explore new cities, culture and people. These
help us to decrease the gap between student life and the working environment
which students has to face after their studies. Studying the specialized area in the
industry and to know the working and functioning of it is easier. Helps in
increasing the internship and placement opportunities for the students.
It is now well understood that how important industrial visit is. Hence, this
initiative of industrial visit has enlightened us which focuses on decreasing the gap
between student life and the working environment which we have to face after our
studies.

OBJECTIVES OF THE VISIT

● To develop the understanding of the student with a realistic and
practical perception of the industry its layout, procedures,
processes, organization Structure.

● To help students gain first-hand information regarding the

functioning of the Industry which presents the students with
opportunities to plan, organize and engage in active learning
experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

● To know an insight regarding internal working of company.

● To go beyond academics, industrial visit provides student a

practical perspective on the world of work.

● Industrial visits provide an excellent opportunity to interact with

industries and know more about industrial environment.

● To learn how the industry work. To become aware of the role of

different people in an organization.

 To improve the perspective towards industry work. To get

opportunity to interact with people in the industry. To recognize
the need for health and safety in the workplace.

DETAILS OF THE JOURNEY

Our industrial visit happened on the ninth of February 2018.
We were asked to report at 6:30 A.M. We were informed about
the modern visit by our faculties. We were all sharp looking in
our outfits. We left our college premises by 10 A.M. We took a
respite in the center of our excursion. It took us 2 hours to
reach our destination. The association was adequately minding
to give us a couple of refreshments when we had arrived. Later
on we were divided into two gatherings as per our roll numbers
and we were sent to two particular zones. The essential social
affair was sent to the motor portion and the second was sent to
the amassing region. Furthermore, after that later we got
exchanged. Fiat is, to a great degree, kind to its visitors; they
furthermore gave us free lunch after the sessions. We
moreover had a little photo session there after the visit and
soon left for school. We returned by 6 P.M.
