Kathryn Crossman  is an innovative and dedicated teacher with the firm belief that
students should be given the chance to construct their own learning
through experiential learning and meaningful opportunities to serve their
kathryn.crossman@nbed.nb.ca communities. She has experience coordinating the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the
Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) programme, the Extended Essay (EE), and teaching
+1 506 227 2837 Theory of Knowledge (TOK) as a part of the Diploma Programme (DP) and MYP
Mathematics. She has also coordinated the IB MYP Service programme, Week Without
Walls (WWW) trips, and Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC)

curriculum after authorization.

Phoenix Eco Squad: Middle/High school club dedicated to taking
action within the local and global community to advocate for the
environment, animals, and more.
Peer Tutoring: Daily program for middle school students to
receive extra support from high school students.
DP Core Retreat: A two and a half day retreat for incoming Gr 11
students to attend workshop style sessions on components of the
DP Core, interact with one another, and create cohesion in the
cohort.
International Opportunities: Liaise with external companies and
institutions to provide students with international opportunities
(service trips, exchange programs, summer programs).
Promotional Material: Design and share promotional material for
the school, specifically the Diploma Programme.
