Professional Profile
I am an enthusiastic educator, striving to create an engaging yet structured
classroom environment. I am student-focused, and recognise the importance
of building strong connections with students in order to know their needs and
interests. I prefer a rewards-based classroom management system with clear
expectations for behavior promoting and maintaining a safe classroom
environment. I have a passion for technology, especially in the classroom, and
recognise the critical role it plays in supporting students to become critical
and creative thinkers, capable of participating in 21 st century life.
Experience
Bicton Primary School Student teaching experience: During this
Practicum practicum I was placed in a 4th grade
classroom. Here I mainly observed teaching
practices whilst assisting with leveled small
Perth Metropolitan groups as required. I also provided one-on-
one assistance with students working on
27/11/2017 - 08/12/2017 letter/number sense. I planned and
executed 3 whole class lessons
independently.
Burrendah Primary School Student teaching experience: During this
Practicum practicum I was placed in a 3rd grade
classroom. During this practicum I created
and executed lesson plans for a range of
Perth Metropolitan subject areas including; Math, English and
HASS. I helped to support students during
30/04/2018 - 29/06/2018 transition to online NAPLAN assessments.
Campbell Primary School Student teaching experience: During this
Practicum practicum I was placed in a 3rd grade
classroom. I taught across all major
teaching areas using lesson planning and
Perth Metropolitan forward planning templates. I planned to
support students through differentiated
29/04/2019 - 05/07/2019 teaching. I assisted students during
NAPLAN assessment as well as ran the
school netball team at Interschool. I
assessed students across all learning areas,
collecting and tracking student data to
monitor student achievement. Furthermore
I created and maintained positive parent
relationships through the seesaw app.
