• Current sensors used for the support of the National Current Observation Program, tides and currents tables, and mapping and
charting activities normally use internal data storage and have no real-time data telemetry capability.
• Current sensors used for the real-time support of maritime navigation and port activities installed for real-time data telemetry shall
sample and be configured to support the transmission of data at a six minute interval.
