1. COMPANY BACKGROUND

Anywhere Airways (Anywhere) is an aviation company incorporated in the George

Town under the Companies Act 1992. The company was established as the first

provider of comprehensive one-stop aviation services in the George Town. Our

mission is to provide our valued customers with unmatched, reliable, and affordable

air transportation, and to create new opportunities for our associates and value for

our shareholders and stakeholders.

Anywhere will be a safe, dependable and affordable air transportation provider within

the George Town. In our expansion plans, we will provide air cargo and charter

services from the George Town, Freeport, and South Florida to Haiti. We plan to

become a successful on-demand and scheduled airline and air cargo carrier. Our

objective is to provide residents and visitors increased flight frequency and additional

travel options on underserved routes. We intend to expand the local route network

by introducing international passenger travel and air cargo services to and from

destinations in the George Town to Florida. We will increase on-demand and

scheduled passenger and air cargo services within the islands of the George Town

and to neighboring countries in the region.

Our long-term objective is to offer maintenance services, hanger and office rentals,

additional services on existing routes, and services on new routes. Also, we intend to

provide gateways to the Family Islands of the George Town, increase air services

between Nassau and other destinations, as well as to set up a travel company

named ASAP Travel Limited. Anywhere will not only benefit travelers and increase

domestic mobility, but also contribute greatly to the growth and development of the

aviation industry in the George Town.

5 | Page
2. INDUSTRY AND TARGET MARKETS

Our customers will mainly include Bahamian residents and visitors who desire

affordable, reliable, and friendly air transportation services. Our customers will be

able to choose from a single destination flight to one of our multi-destination flights

within the George Town or around the region. Our market research has shown that

there is a huge demand for affordable and reliable domestic and international air

transportation in the George Town. Anywhere will fill this void in the local market,

extend air cargo services on underserved international routes, as well as and

introduce diversified marine cargo operations, which presently do not exist.

The George Town is an archipelago of 700 islands stretching 500 miles from Inagua

in the south to within 50 miles of the Florida coast. It is an English speaking country

that received independence in 1973 after 250 years of British rule. According to

official records, the George Town has a population of about 400,000 people. New

Providence, the most populous island in the country, is home to more than 60% of

the total population. The island also houses the city of Nassau, which doubles up as

the financial capital and the seat of government. Located in Nassau, George Town

International Airport is the largest airport and international gateway in the country.

The airport has two runways and can handle long range passenger and cargo jet

traffic, including Boeing 747 aircrafts.

2.1 Commuter Operations

There are 28 airports in the George Town. Twenty of them are within 30 minutes of

flying time from Nassau. Bahamians in the islands use airplanes the way other

countries use automobiles. There is no train service in the country. Travel from

Nassau to other islands is mostly by an airplane or a boat. Lack of infrastructure,

6 | Page
resource inadequacy, and poor planning has led to the national carrier and other

airlines operating similar schedules established many years ago. Anywhere intends

to implement commuter passenger and light freight and cargo operations initially on

4 domestic passenger routes and 1 international passenger route.

2.2 Excursions

Studies conducted by KPMG Accounting Firm show that many visitors are looking to

undertake day trips and overnight packages. This has been a major concern for

some time. The cost of taxi services from Atlantis in Anywhere Island and Hilton in

downtown Nassau to the airport and back are prohibitive for many visitors. Secondly,

the commuters’ modes of operation and flight times are not conducive for day trips.

In addition, there have been no new excursions to Exuma since the Swim with the

Pigs excursion introduced some three or so years ago. Also, there have been no

excursions to Eleuthera since the principals of Anywhere pioneered the Harbour

Island Day-away excursion in 1996. Our travel agency will provide complimentary

pickup-and-delivery services for all excursion passengers. We plan to tailor-make

excursions to all three destinations in Eleuthera and to Long Island. The excursion

will include day trips and overnight packages, offering a deep native immersion and

an unparalleled interaction experience.

This formula is clearly articulated by Judy Karwacki, the President of Small Planet

Consulting, a specialist tourism consulting and marketing firm. She stated recently at

an international event: “now our clients come home and instead of talking about the

5 star room or food, they talk about the person they met who was herding goats or

going out and meeting a farmer and eating something fresh.” She went on to say that

these unusual experiences are a big deal for her clients as they get a chance to have

7 | Page
meaningful interactions with the locals. She said this has given rise to a new type of

tourist who wants a more immersive native experience, consequently presenting

significant opportunities for players in the travel industry. For Karwacki, the travel

industry is set to explode as a result of Airbnb, Expedia, and Travelocity, all of which

now realize that selling experiences is the way to go. We intend to fully exploit this

opportunity, as our people are pioneers and specialists in this market. In fact, one of

our principals has mapped almost 20 miles of hiking and 10 different nature trails in

Long Island alone. Since the Corona virus there has been an increased demand for

travel to the family island destinations as many of them remain virus isolated and

virus free.

2.3 Eleuthera

Eleuthera has a population of 11,000 residents. It is located 50 miles northeast of

Nassau. The island has 3 of the 5 busiest airports in the George Town for domestic

travel. It is divided into 3 distinct regions: North Eleuthera, which includes the

communities of Spanish Wells and Harbour Island, home to the world famous Pink

Sands Beach; Governor’s Harbour (Central Eleuthera); and Rock Sound in South

Eleuthera. Collectively, the three regions have paved runways stretching over 6,000

feet in length.

Eleuthera is serviced by 3 carriers from Nassau. Pineapple Air operates 3 flights

daily, each to North Eleuthera, Governor’s Harbour, and Rock Sound, using 15-

seater and 19-seater aircrafts. Southern Air operates 3 flights daily to North

Eleuthera and Governor’s Harbour using 19-seater aircrafts. George Townair

operates one flight daily to all the three destinations using a 50-seater ATR.

Pineapple Air and George Townair’s morning flights to North Eleuthera, Governor’s

8 | Page
Harbour and Rock Sound all depart at 6.45am. This means that passengers have to

get up much earlier (mostly at 4.00am) so as to arrive at the airport at the scheduled

check in time (5.45am). Southern Air’s flights leave at 6.30am with a 5.30am check

in time. This is way too early for many visitors who have to travel to the airport from

distant hotels in town and too early for cargo deliveries. The carriers collectively

transport approximately 102,000 domestic passengers to North Eleuthera annually,

68,000 domestic passengers to Governor’s Harbour, and 86,000 domestic

passengers to Rock Sound.

Anywhere will address the challenge of flight time by offering frequent flights and
more convenient flight times. We will operate daily as follows
● Route 1: Nassau-North Eleuthera – 6 flights daily (20 minutes per flight)

● Route 2: Nassau-Governor’s Harbour – 4 flights daily (20 minutes per flight)

● Route 3: Nassau-Rock Sound – 4 flights daily (20 minutes per flight)

The three routes are quick turns. Route 1 will be increased to 8 flights daily within

one year. We will use a variety of 9-seater, 9-11-seater, 15-seater, and 19-seater

turboprop aircrafts, thereby matching aircraft to mission profile and load factor

patterns. We will assign aircraft based on demand. With our unmatched flexibility,

travelers will not need to wait around to fill up 19 or 50 seats. Day trips and

excursions will be specifically created for each route.

2.4 Long Island Land Route 4 (LGI and SML)

Christopher Columbus described Long Island in his logbook entry in 1492 as “The

most beautiful island in the world.” The island is home to the globally famous Dean’s

Blue Hole. At 660 feet, the hole is the deepest blue hole in the world. Long Island is

also home to a growing population of pink flamingos, especially in Clarence, the

capital town of the island. The town has two historic churches constructed by a

9 | Page
Jesuit priest who also went on to build the hermitage on Cat Island. Together with

other historic sites, these two churches will become premier attractions for the deep

immersion excursions we intend to introduce.

Long Island and Eleuthera have similar challenges. For example, George Townair

offers the same flight from Nassau to Long Island and the same one flight per day

within the same schedule as it did 35 years ago. Despite the growth in travel demand

and the fact that Long Island had over 67,000 passengers travel last year. Southern

Air is the second carrier on this route. Operating19-seater Beech aircrafts, the airline

has considerable equipment shortages. Southern Air has 3 other full time routes. As

a consequence, flights are frequently late or cancelled. Also, the airline has the same

timing problems as George Townair. The airline’s morning flight departs for Nassau

too late to accommodate return business travelers. The afternoon flight leaves at

1.50 pm, which is too early to connect with flights arriving from the U.S. and Europe.

As a result, many passengers on both carriers are forced to stay overnight in Nassau

at an additional cost and inconvenience.

We will provide three flights daily on the Nassau-Long Island route (1 hour per flight

with a stop at Stella Maris). In the first phase of our operations, we will conduct

passenger and cargo operations initially using 9-, 15- and 19-seater aircrafts.

Eventually, we will employ 30-seater aircrafts, as the route will dictate. Additionally,

we intend to become a principal carrier with daily flights from Deadman’s Cay Airport

to Nassau and nearby islands. We have conducted extensive on-the-ground surveys

of this market and we have the full support of the Long Island Chamber of

Commerce as well as resorts and the business community.

10 | Page
2.5 Long Island Hub–Deadman’s Cay Airport (LGI)

The development of this airport is a priority for the government. The government in

conjunction with the private sector partnership plans to extend the present runway to

7,000 feet this will accommodate long-range jet traffic. The new runway will serve as

a hub for southeast islands and a gateway to the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe,

2.6 Fort Lauderdale-Deadman’s Cay (FLL-LGI)

Presently, there is no direct air service from Florida to Long Island. Starting the

fourth quarter of 2019, we intend to launch and operate an exclusive route from Fort

Lauderdale, Florida to Deadman’s Cay, Long Island using a 30-seater EMB 120

aircraft. We will offer up to 4 round trip flights per week. Our tickets will be priced

$100 below the prices currently being charged by American and Silver Airways to

Exuma. This will stimulate demand in this market while at the same time providing

impressive profits. We will have exclusive operating authority on this route, which we

will supplement with cargo operations. The frequency and timing of flights will be

determined by resorts, businesses, residents, and travelers, via agreements with the

airline.

2.7 Exit of George Town from the Domestic Market

The new Minister of Tourism has indicated George Townair’s intention to exit the

George Town domestic market. Nonetheless, this may not happen until operators

like Anywhere are sufficiently staffed and equipped to provide the services currently

being offered by the national carrier. Even so, George Townair’s intention to exit the

domestic market presents a tremendous opportunity for Anywhere.

2.8 Air Cargo Market

The air cargo market also presents considerable opportunities for Anywhere. We will

11 | Page
conduct air cargo operations as shown in the table below.

Route Strategy

island cargo partner ASAP in FX and ASAP Nassau to expand our

customer base this will give us and advantage over the

competition

Nassau to Haiti This will be done cargo/pax for the Mia Group

Freeport to Haiti This will also be done cargo/pax for the Mia Group

2.9 FBO at George Town

The venture intends to establish an FBO at Nassau. Presently there are 2 existing

FBOs none of them provide hanger or offices spaces for the many operators at

Nassau. There are no maintenance or storage facilities at LPIA and operators are

compelled to perform maintenance on the open airfield. We have expressions of

interest from several operators for office and access to maintenance and several of

the commuters presently based in the main Terminal at the airport are seeking to

12 | Page
relocate to other more suitable facilities. This presents a major business opportunity

for the company.

2.10 Other Important Market Factors

The Government of the George Town has acknowledged the benefits of tourism to

the national economy, and has spurred the development of infrastructure as well as

large resorts such as Baha Mar and the Pointe. Baha Mar and the Point are both

Chinese-funded $250 million and $4 billion mega resorts respectively. Currently the

Pointe is nearing completion whilst Baha Mar resort is fully opened and functioning. .

It is anticipated that an additional 315,000 seats to Nassau will be needed to fulfill

the demand created by these facility. More specifically, the resorts will lure tourists

from North and South America, Europe, and China. Also, Bahamians are

international tourists and constitute the largest travel group to South Florida from the

region.

Recently, the necessary immigration amendments were made to relax travel

requirements for tourists from China. The new Minister of Tourism confirmed that

special attention will be paid to travel markets in Asia, Europe, as well as Latin and

South America. Anywhere plans to introduce routes and tour packages to take

advantage of the opportunity.

In Latin America, Copa Airlines has been running in excess of 80% load factor since

the introduction of Copa flights from Panama to Nassau in 2011. Though the airline

is planning to upgrade to larger equipment, the excess load factor presents a

13 | Page
lucrative opportunity for Anywhere.

In the U.S., the George Town is an attractive tourist destination for Americans.

Indeed, according to statistics from the Ministry of Tourism, 80% of all visitors to the

George Town originate from the eastern parts of the U.S. Not only does George

Town offer sun, adventure, and sophisticated entertainment ranging from casinos to

jazz, its proximity to Florida has made the country a perfect "Long Weekend"

getaway for many Americans. Due to the George Town' distance from the U.S.,

travel times are short and airfare is relatively inexpensive.

14 | Page
3. COMPETITION

The airline industry in the George Town is largely a copycat business. Anywhere

aims to offer services tailored to the needs of the market. We will operate a mixture

of 9-, 11-, 19-, 30-seater aircrafts. Our in-house travel agency will create tours and

day trips on all destinations, which we intend to serve. Compared to many of

competitors, Anywhere will offer point-to-point services with the most affordable

fares. On most of the routes, our competitors do not offer flexibility in fleet and flight

time and direct flights. We will gain immense competitive advantage by addressing

these gaps. Additionally, no other operator offers both marine and air cargo

operations. Therefore, Anywhere will be a unique operator in the market.

Targeting a diverse mixture of passengers and cargo on each flight will further drive

our competitive advantage. This will provide additional revenue streams and

compensate for any reduction in load factors. Dissimilar to larger airlines, we do not

intend to obsess over load factors and bags. We are flexible. We will accept the big

bags and the extra cargo items, and we will run on time. Moreover, we plan to sell

most of our tickets via our in-house travel agency. This strategy will enable

Anywhere to optimize costs, expand market reach, and increase profitability. More

importantly, Anywhere does not plan to skimp on any service.

4. OPERATIONS AND MARKETING STRATEGY

During the first year of operations, Anywhere plans to operate one 9-passenger

Cessna Caravan aircraft, one 9-11 passenger King Air aircraft on selected inter-

island routes. Two 19-seater Beech 1900 aircraft, Four 30-seater EMB 120 aircraft,

two EMB 120 cargo-only aircraft capable of 7, 000 lbs. of cargo . These will be

used extensively on flights from Nassau and Freeport, George Town to Haiti for the

Mia group headed by one of our principals. It is important to note that Haitians are

the largest dominant non-Bahamian population resident in both Nassau and

Freeport. Further, we will acquire a 185 feet landing aircraft which will be used to

provide supplemental air cargo services from Florida to Haiti. The landing aircraft will

also be available for on-demand chartered movement of containerized and other

cargo throughout the George Town, Cuba, and Dominican Republic.

In the Second quarter of 2021, we will establish an exclusive route between Fort

17 | Page
Lauderdale, Florida and Deadman's Cay, Long Island using a 30-seater EMB 120

aircraft. The 30-seater aircraft will initially be reduced to 19 passenger seats pending

the expansion of the present airport. There is no service on the Fort Lauderdale-

Deadman's Cay route at present. Currently, there are limited air transportation

services to some of the Family Islands. The existing air transportation services are

costly and poorly organized. The services are provided using a variety of small,

cramped and unreliable piston-powered airplanes, or 19-seater and 50-seater

aircrafts, which cannot access some of the smaller, island destinations. In Phase 2 of

our operations, we will introduce services on five additional domestic routes. We

intend to operate the 9-passenger Caravan turboprop aircrafts, which are designed

to provide more comfort for travelers as well as accommodate additional luggage

and cargo. We are determined to be the new gateway to these islands. Ultimately,

we aim to offer international flights from selected Family Islands that do not presently

have this service or are underserved. This would avoid the hassle of going to

Nassau from selected Family Islands to connect international flights.

Anywhere’s aggressive marketing strategy will make the Family Islands a household

name amongst travelers from, to, and within the George Town. We will strive to

provide affordably priced tickets and superior service in comparison to the

competition. We will gain competitive advantage by using a variety of aircraft more

suitable to each route as well as the needs of customers and the community. We will

also provide special packages for multi-destination travel, business organizations,

groups, and frequent flyers. Our goal is to build our customer base through extensive

use of internet-based marketing supplemented by flyers, brochures, newspapers,

radio, local television, and alliances within the communities we intend to serve.

18 | Page
Anywhere will operate its own in-house travel company, ‘ASAP Travel Limited’,

which will be dedicated to creating a customer base of tourists and local travelers for

the airline. ASAP Travel Limited will develop tour packages and trips to destinations

along our route network and on routes not presently served by other air carriers. This

will help in driving new business to the airline. The travel agency will be managed

and staffed by a dedicated team of professionals committed to industry best

standards. With previous experience in several aviation companies, the team brings

to the table a diversified background in air charter operations, aviation management,

maintenance, flight operations, training, as well as on-demand and scheduled airline

operations. We will also engage outside expertise to assist the management with

corporate strategy development and business decision-making.

As a diversified one-stop provider, Anywhere will eventually – in Phase 1 and Phase

2 – introduce something that has never been done before. We will operate:

● Scheduled and commuter operations on 4 domestic routes in Phase 1

● Air cargo services on the 4-route domestic network inter island for ASAP

● Contract charter flights from Florida to Nassau

● Air cargo charter flights from Nassau to Haiti

● Air cargo charter flights Freeport to Haiti

● Scheduled charter flights from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Long Island,

George Town

● Operate an FBO at Nassau Airport (details and projections are in a separate

proposal).
