Select
What standards or LOs were being addressed in the lesson?
How did you cater for learners with special needs, and for differentiation?
How did you use positive reinforcement? Methods? For what?
How did you sequence or scaffold activities so that they built gradually towards the learning objectives?

The learning outcome is:

1- What do we mean by living and nonliving?
2- Define what is living and nonliving means
The characteristics of living things and the characteristics of non-living thing.

There are no special needs in this class. The differentiation strategy is use was
for homework. I also differentiation in my questioning so I ask him questions
based on their level. I also differentiation them in the handwriting activity. I
asked the master students to give me for reasons to define living thing, for
developing students my question was give me three living things and three
and nonliving things and for emerging students they had to give example of
two living and to nonliving thing.

I always used oral positive reinforcement with my students to encourage them

keep working and be confident to participate in the lesson as well as using
stars and points on Nearpod when they finish their work.

To scaffold my activities I like to start my lesson with a video then discuss the
video with my students ask them questions then listen to them if they have
any question about the video or if they have any discussion to said after that I
start explaining the next activity for them then after they finished the activity
with have a discussion and I give them point when they finished the activity
and so on till we finish the lesson and start with time to climb.
Overall aim and context of the lesson

The lesson was about living and non-living things. I ask the students some
information is like what is living means? What do you think calling
something living thing means? What about nonliving things what does that
means? Do you think you are a living thing? Why? I start a lesson with some
critical thinking questions.
After discussing these questions with the student, I start explaining the
learning outcomes for today’s lesson and what we will learn about exactly
also I explain the activities for the students.
Describe
On Sunday March 21, 2021, 10:00 to 10:30 AM I start my Science lesson
with 2/7. The lesson was about Living and non-living things. I present my
lesson using Microsoft teams and Nearpod.
I taught grade 2/7 students online using Microsoft team. I used Nearpod to
present my lesson and this is my third time using Nearpod.
My personal goal for my lesson is to manage my time (Time Management
Skill), therefore I put a good time for each activate. I also make sure to
discuss with the students after they finish answering. Timing the activities
was a main thing to reach my personal goal because I have a time to review
their answers with them, because I want to make sure they are aware of the
lesson and understanding the lesson.
Analyze (A):
Since this is my 6th lesson, I think I get better to communicate with the
students. They were answering and responding when I ask them to raise their
hands or to answer or to read with me. They were very good today I was
happy of their participation and finishing their work. I personally believe in at
the power of good reinforcement and I love seeing them happy for having
good feedback that’s why I keep saying good job, great job, thank you, you
are smart, to make them feel happy and comfortable and brave to participate
at the lesson.
Appraise
Explain the nature of the experience from the students’ perspective?
Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?
I want to have a good and fun lesson that’s why I choose Nearpod. I think
Nearpod is more engaging than a PowerPoint. I can see their handwriting, I
can assess them using games, so I did my teaching part, and they learn in a
fun way and I can add fun activates.
In this lesson I think I had reached my personal goal, as much as time
management is important to me it’s very important to me that the students are
in gauging with me and participating so I was happy today to teach those two
goals. I use Nearpod game Time To Clime to assess the students at the end of
the lesson.
Transform
I was very happy about today’s lesson; I think I did well because of the
students and because of their participation with me. I really don’t expect the
whole class to be active, but I was happy that most of the class were active
today and join the Nearpod maybe it’s because the lesson is easy for them but
I’m still very happy of the work today.
