Vision, mission and values of the organisation


The vision and mission of the organisation is established to achieve the goal of the
organisation. Vision statement describes the ideal long-term future of the organisation,
whereas mission statement describes the purpose of the organisation. It is necessary to
refine the current vision and mission of the organisation for the development and
implementation of the new strategies plan. After the establishment of vision and mission of
the organisation, the implemented strategic plan is assessed to find the progress of the
company. The mission and vision of the company should be written in a simple language so
that everyone can understand.
MacVille is a successful import/export business centre in Sydney for the past two
years. The Board has asked to the general manager to assist in the development of a
strategic plan by conducting a review of the vision, mission, and value of the organisation.
The vision of MacVille is to become a national brand and accepted as an essential
part of the hospitality industry in the next five years. The mission of MacVille is to supply
espresso coffee machines that meet the efficiency, reliability and sustainability needs of the
clients and obtain profit for the business. The values of MacVille will not change until the
existence of the organisation. For the stakeholders, it has been about stewardship and about
adhering to professional and moral standards of conduct. For our people, we are committed
to motivate and encourage their work, develop leadership and maintain high levels of safety.

Current practices of MacVille after the reviewing process-


MacVille has appointed the General manager to review the existing vision, mission,
and values and prepare a report. The general manager has reviewed the process and
discuss the application of the vision, mission, and values with the CEO to research the
changes since the strategic plan was formulated.
The CEO of MacVille explained that the strategic plan has played an important part
of the organisation’s operations on a daily basis, and should be reflected in the vision,
mission, and values of the organisation. The current approaches for the MacVille is to
incorporate innovation into our mission as it has been an outcome from the self-directed
team’s directive. Always find a new way to improve the efficiency of processes and
effectiveness of customer solutions is the priority. MacVille needs to evaluate the strategic
planning and methods to simplify and improve the business. The company should constantly
innovate and raise its standards and try new ideas and concepts. New partnership should be
included that supports and promote our mission, desired goals and strategies. Furthermore,
MacVille needs to be an active participant for community services and even donate some
percentage of profit every year.

Email to Stakeholders/Consultant-
An email was sent to all the stakeholders/consultant after meeting with them. The
meeting was about developing the strategic plan and revising the mission and vision of the
organisation. The full report of existing vision and mission, current approaches after
reviewing process, revised vision and mission and the values of the organisation were
discussed. The given email was sent to all the stakeholders/consultant for obtaining the
approval for implementing the strategic plan with revised vision and mission and provide any
feedback or recommendations.

Dear Stakeholders,
I am writing this email to appreciate your participation in today’s meeting. As we had
revised our existing mission, vision, and values, upon our discussion with all of you, the
following is a brief summary of our discussion results.
Existing vision and mission-
Vision: Our vision is to become a national brand within five years. MacVille will be
accepted as an integral part of the hospitality industry and perceived as a key element in the
success of the hospitality establishment in both large and small.
Mission: Our mission is to provide espresso coffee machines that meet the
competency, reliability and sustainability needs of our clients/customers. In return for our
excellent service, we will be rewarded with profit.

Current Approaches-
The current approaches of the organisation are given below:
-Incorporate innovation into our mission.
-Evaluate our way of work and try to simplify and improve it.
-Prioritised to find new ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
-Embrace strategic alliances to achieve the mission of the company.
-Identify more closely with the community that MacVille serves.
-Be an active participant in the local communities and even donate some percentage of
profits every year to non-profit organisations.

Revised vision and mission-


After our held meeting, the following are the revised vision and mission of our
company.
Vision: MacVille will become a national brand within the next five years and be an
essential part of the hospitality industry. Always finding the new ways to upgrade the
efficiency of processes and the effectiveness of customer solutions has become a priority of
our company.
Mission: Always innovating and raising our standards with new ideas and concepts.
The organisation should embrace strategic alliances and seek new partnerships that support
and promote out mission.

Organisational Values-
The values of MacVille reflects:
-We should never be lazy, but instead, constantly create and raise the standards of the
company as we are brave enough to try new ideas and concepts.

-MacVille’s CEO urges to embrace strategic alliances and to seek new partnership that
support and promote our revised mission and strategies.

-Furthermore, MacVille needs to be good corporate citizen and recognise the responsibility
for the local community and even donate some percentage of profit every year to various
non-profit organisations.

-The last strategic plan had brought development in new areas. These changes have an
impact on our daily operations and should be reflected in our vision, mission, and values.

-Always evaluate the current work process and find the solutions to change where needed.
MacVille CEO has prioritized to find new ways to improve the efficiency processes and
effectiveness of customer solutions.

This is the final report of our company’s ongoing vision, mission, and values. I have also
attached the meeting summary notes of our strategic plan with this email.

Meeting summary notes:


MacVille existing vision, mission, and values were reviewed as being requested by the
Boards of the company. The general manager was appointed to prepare the final report for
the revised vision and mission as the CEO stated that the values of the company will remain
the same as long as the company exists.

Values of our organization-


● For our Stakeholders, it has been about stewardship and about adhering to
professional and moral standards of conduct of the organization.
● For our employees, we are committed to motivate and encourage their work, develop
leadership and maintain high levels of safety.
●  For exteriorly, we are committed to wise environmental practices and offering
meaningful value to our customers.

After the review process, the general manager had an opportunity to discuss the application
of the vision, mission and values with the CEO and find out what has been developed after
the implementation of the last strategic plan. The CEO stated that there had been
developments in new areas that were not recognised when implementing the last plan.
These developments have played a vital role in our daily operations and should be reflected
in our revised vision, mission and values. 

As our values will remain the same as long as the organization exists. So, the following are
the discussed points that should be included in our new revised vision and mission
statement of our company.

● MacVille needs to be a good corporate citizen that understands the responsibility to


be an active participant in local community services.
● There is a real need to incorporate innovation into our mission because it has been
an outcome from the self-directed team’s directive.

● The priority should be finding new ways to improve efficiency processes and
effectiveness of customer solutions.
● Necessary to evaluate our work and continually challenge our methods to improve
our business and be able to get success in the business.
● Never afraid to try new ideas and concepts that will innovate and raise the standards
of our company.
● The organisation needs to embrace new strategic alliances and look for new
partnerships that support and promote the company’s standards of conduct.

Conclusion-
This report has explained the establishment of vision and mission of MacVille. The Board
and CEO of the MacVille appointed the general manager for the reviewing process to
develop the strategic plan. Meetings were held with stakeholders/consultants and the
detailed information of revised vison and mission after researching the results of
implemented strategic plans of MacVille were provided to them. An email was sent with the
attachment of meeting summary notes to all the stakeholders/consultant for the approval of
the company’s new revised vision and mission as the value of the company will remain same
as long as the organisation exist.
