IDEAS TO SHARE, KNOWLEDGE TO PROSPER

` It can be a challenge to come up with a science fair project idea. There is a fierce
competition to come up with the coolest idea, plus you need a topic that is considered
appropriate to your educational level.

A well designed project at the college level can open the door to future
educational and career opportunities, so it pays to put some thought and effort into your topic. A
good project will answer a question and test the hypothesis.

Science fairs are an important factor to motivate students towards science. The
science fair contributes their social developments. The science fair increases the skills of the
presenters. The science fair increases the interest in being scientists and engineers.

Last week, our school held the science fair in our building. Many students
participated and showcased their inventions. Some are in the category of life science where the
need to cure diseases are really present. Most inventions are in the physical category of science
where mechanics of different machines were displayed. They were the coolest.

I hope next year I can also participate. I have a background of different science
investigatory projects in my past. I also have new ideas to share I can’t wait for the next science
fair.
