VOLLEYBALL JUNOON

Rules:
1. There will be four teams in the tournament.
2. Entry fee will be Rs.100 for each team. Owners will have to pay entry fee of Rs.100
for ownership of the team. The entry for the players in the teams is free.
3. Ownership will be granted on first come first serve basis. First four owners will get
the chance for team building.
4. Players will be sorted randomly by picking cards, picked by the owners. There will be
no bidding.
5. There must be a girl player in each team.
6. You can make 7 players play on the team, given that there are 2 girl players on the
team.
7. The girl player must do the first 3 serves, regardless of order of serves.
8. This tournament is knockout based.
9. Qualifier matches will be of 3-sets of 21 points-each and final match will be of 5 sets
of 25 points-each.
10. Interested players can give their names till “4 pm on 22nd Feb,2020”
11. Card picking will be done on 22nd Feb at 6 pm only by the owners.
12. Referee decision will be final decision. Any argument with the referee can lead to
disqualification.
13. Owners can also play in their teams.
14. Teachers can also play and be a part of this tournament.
15. All the match rules will be same as international standards.

About this Tournament

As a sport, Volleyball has encapsulated the world stage, and is symbolic of team-play at the
highest level. So that everyone willing to try it gets the chance, the Organizers of this event
have come up with the idea of this tournament. Volleyball Junoon is for everyone who wants
to play the sport. This tournament is first of its kind here, and if the idea sets into the minds of
everyone, this shall not be the last. In the hope of making this a regular one, we sincerely
encourage participation of as many as possible, students and teachers alike. For everyone
