Biography of Darnytsky Illia Illia Darnytsky was born on November 29, 2008 in
Kyiv, Ukraine. Music has been played in the house since childhood. My
grandfather ranked folk songs of Kyiv region, he wrote music himself. From
childhood, Elijah showed a passion for creativity. When he came to audition at
the music school, he was taken to grade zero because he was still young and
did not go to school. At first it was difficult to sit still, so I tried to do everything
as quickly as possible, and then ran to play football. Probably that is why the
first awards were diplomas of the winner of 111 degrees (Autumn Music Fest,
November 2015; diploma Golden Stars of Autumn November 2016, diploma at
the All-Ukrainian open competition of classical music "Horizons of Classics",
2016). Later, during his studies, he repeatedly won various competitions
(international, national), becoming a winner in the following nominations: -
"Piano": 9 times winner (diploma) 1 degree; 5 times winner of the 2nd degree;
He has won the 111th degree (Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine-Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv); -
"Composition": 17 times winner (diploma) of 1 degree; 7 times winner of the
2nd degree; 5 times winner of 111 degrees (Turku Finland, Russia, Ukraine).
There were always a lot of musical opuses in the house and my grandfather
often played them on the piano, which is probably when he wanted to start
making music himself. The composer - the diploma of the Grand Prix received
the first prize in a nomination in October, 2018 at the International festival -
competition of classical music, song, dance. Recently, Illia has been trying to
combine two types of work: performer and composer, presenting on stage both
his own works and the music of other composers. He has a dream to play with
a symphony orchestra, and maybe compose music.
