This new version for XCHANG takes over the functions of XCHANG 3.4 and fixes some
bug.
The XCHANG package increases MASTERFILE’s functions by adding the following
conversion modules:
· XCHANG-PAT-DXF-OUT: IBA to AAMA
· XCHANG-PAT-DXF-IN: AAMA to IBA
· XCHANG-VAR-ASCI-OUT: VET to TRANSDATA
· XCHANG-VAR-ASCI-IN: TRANSDATA to VET
· XCHANG-MRK-ASCI-OUT: PLA/PLX to TRANSDATA
· XCHANG-MRK-ASCI-IN: TRANSDATA to PLA/PLX
· XCHANG-VAR-DXF-IN: AAMA to VET+IBA
· XCHANG-VAR-DXF-OUT: VET+IBA to AAMA
· XCHANG-VAR-RCS-OUT: VET+IBA to RCS-LUMIERE (dedicated to Lectra to RCS
data exchange)
· XCHANG-VAR-JWCA-IN: JWCA to VET+IBA (dedicated to Asia)
· XCHANG-VAR-JWCA-OUT: VET+IBA to JWCA (dedicated to Asia)

Some software programs (DIAMINO, FORMARIS, VIGIPRINT, etc.) can access DXF
compatibility via XCHANG-PAT-DXF-OUT and XCHANG-PAT-DXF-IN conversion
modules.

The 3.5 version of XCHANG is available for Windows only. It can be found on Soft-
Server.
XCHANG is an additional module that is used by MasterFile and other Lectra software.
It is not available for Windows only. It can be found on Soft-Server.
The simple installation of the XCHANG 3.5 package gives access to all the conversion
resources. There is no need for license code.

 0HVVDJHWUDQVODWLRQ
You will find the language DLL, for a standard installation, in:
\Drive(C:)\Program Files\Lectra Systemes\XCHANG\bin\XCHANG_XX.DLL, where XX
represents the language FR, DL, IT, SP or PL. English (GB) is contained in the
executive file (.exe).
When an installation is customized, the DLL languages are always in the same directory
as the executive file.

The documentation remains the same. It is available in six languages (French, English,
Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese):

All XCHANG modules are IUHHRISURWHFWLRQ since XCHANG 3.4.

 1HZIXQFWLRQV
The 3.5 version of XCHANG has a new conversion module (VAR-RCS-OUT). This new
module, used by MasterFile, converts every source VET file – and the related IBA files -
into a DXF compatibility file that is dedicated to RCS software.
Correct processing of this compatibility file requires RCS-LUMIERE-60C (or better) with
option RCS-IMP-60C (or better).
