Answer the following questions:

6 – New York city scored as the number one city for good manners. Are you surprised?
As far as I am concerned, I am not surprised in NY there many places of commerce, so
there are a lot of people trained to be polite to others.

7 – In your opinion, are people less polite nowadays than in the past?
I honestly believe that the generations change, for better or for worse; in my particular
case, when I was little, my parents taught me good manners and to respect my elders
(now I'm older). I think people act according to their preferences.

8 – Where did you learn manners: at home? At school? At a religious institution?

At home I learned most of the manners, but school was my second home and therefore I
believe I was taught good values. I am not religious.

9 – Why are manners important?

Because it is important to promote respect among people. If everyone practices good
manners the coexistence of the community is healthy and friendly. This applies at work,
at home or in any other place where one or more individuals converge.
